Time to meet Spring outdoors - Say Hello to ol' friends and make new friends!!!!
RAIN OR SHINE - the party is on!!!! We have a 75' gazebo for coverage!
BBQ - lunch: hamburgers and hotdogs; dinner: steaks and baked potatoes
Cost of both meals: $12
BYOB/drinks  Also bring a lawn chair if you have one. 
Everyone is requested to bring something (food or drink) to share with everyone. Let me know what you'd like to bring. (Some ideas: Veggie platter, fruit platter, peanuts, dessert, salad, baked beans, french fries, ice, paper products, charcoal, propane tank, large trashbags (Yard size), chips and dip, etc)
Fun - Games  - Treasure Hunt - Snipe Hunt (ha)  - Music - Horse Shoes - Dancing - Campfire - S'mores

Anyone wishing to spend the night??? Camping sites available at no cost (except if you'd like shavings for $6 or hay for $5) - Bring your tent, air mattress, sleeping bag (or other bedding) -- Have a few tents available as first come, first serve. No tent, no problem. Can sleep inside one of the barns or straight under the stars. (OFF is good!)
 
Please confirm your attendance no later than 12 May so that we can purchase the groceries.
Volunteers are needed for each activity? Would you like to volunteer? For which activity? How about grilling? 
PS - horses say it's ok if you'd like to bring a few carrots or apples.

Mike is bringing his brand new 38' RV and might get here on Friday. We'll be fixing breakfast there. He's also in charge of some of the games and has 4 extra tents in case someone needs one.

Wow, Alma and Frank, a lot of new faces responding to the BBQ Meet and Greet, am glad that we are getting some new faces coming.
Frankie, now behave yourself. We know that Alma does not drink much.
You and I are the drinkers...LOL.
I don't know what those drinks were that we had at the Valentine Meet and Greet, but leave them at home.
Do we have horseshoes ....Alma how about that game that you played at the Valentine Meet and Greet, think that went over very well. Especially the Fuzzy Wuzzy's.... LOL
I also have four folding chairs will bring them with me, do we need tables, I have a plastic one or do we have enough tables at the barn?

Newsflash: We just opened up another area for primitive camping. Just Mother Nature's beautiful Woods!!!! Note: Campsites are not reserved. They are on first come - first serve basis. Don't forget your lantern. Must request that no one start a fire by their campsite. We're only allowed to have one campfire and that's the one that Pete will be taking care of. (sorry - no exceptions to this little request)

CindyLou - What a great idea to have such a fantastic BBQ in your honor. We'll have to have a birthday cake!!! I think that if your family has something planned that you ask them to do it either the weekend before or after.
Josadi - yes, we do have a dancing area --- (that's why I suggested folks bring cowboy boots if they have them). Yes, single friends can come. Are they on DHU? Let's talk.

Don't forget confirmation by 12 May - $12 for groceries. Everyone that confirms will owe the $12 whether they come or not. Please do not confirm your attendance if you can't afford to pay the $12. We're trying to make this the best BBQ - camping trip ever. The groceries for the two meals with the number of folks that are signed up $12 X 60 = $720. Glad we have so many folks coming - the more the merrier. Had not planned to ask for the $12 in advance since it's a matter of trust (and you don't know me yet) - but I don't have $720 to spend on the "stuff". Anyone that can send the $12 in advance will be greatly appreciated.
I'm trusting that the rest of folks (the ones that would rather not send the $$$) will come and bring the $12.
Hope you understand our dilemna. (really hate asking but don't know how else to do it)
