This is an old thread, bringing it back to life (included my original post)... some of you may remember it... started 10/20/07
I really like men. Not just the "attraction" thing... I like them.
I was very fortunate in having a wonderful relationship with a man I admired and that influenced how I feel about men in general.
Yes, I like men ... how they think, how they move, how they sound.
How they banter back and forth with the other guys, like boys.
How they take charge... how they take orders... how they accept responsibility.
How they look in a suit. How they express to me with their eyes how I look in a suit.

Other than the physical attraction.(which i really like)
I like a women's facial expression's. Especially there smile's.
I just like the company of a woman, which I miss alot.

I admire a man who isn't afraid to shed a tear when needed, and I admire his strength as well. I admire him if he is not on some ego trip and if he can make me feel like I am the only woman in the world for him. Had too many years feeling like I had something to worry about when I didn't , wasted too much time on it.

I love their quiet strength and their not so quiet strength. Love how their jaw is harder and stronger than mine. Love that I can hang onto their arm and know I'm protected. Love the feel of their rough face no matter how closely they shave. Love the way my hand is swallowed by theirs. Love the feel of their muscles and body hair against my naked skin. Love the way they have to touch me.
Hmmmmmm seems all physical this morning. Well, when I wake up I'll try to think of the other ways I love them.

I admire the way they make me feel safe . The way their body feels snuggled next to mine . The way they smell after they have just showered and shaved. The way they look in the morning when they are drinking their coffee. I admire their strength, body and mind. The way they look in jeans and a tee shirt.

I admire inner strength in a man, the ability to handle both good times and bad. What makes a person, not necessarily gender related, starts with knowing and liking yourself first.

To me it's just watching her, seeing her smile, hearing her laugh and the things understood without either saying a word. Waking up before her and just seeing her still sleeping and sneaking out of bed and getting the coffee so she can have some as soon as she wakes up. I admire their logical thought process, the confidence they possess, the ability to keep the "boy" in them regardeless of their age. The comradery they share towards each other. The stregnth of their bodies. I admire how they are capable of making a woman feel safe in their presence. Their willingness to put their life on the line for this country, for their fellow man....and their ability to zero in on a problem..cut through all the BS and solve it. When I am in the company of a man that I admire...I am like a sponge..I try and soak up as much practical knowledge....insight to problem solving..and his general outlook on life...because I do believe it will make me a better, wiser person.

I spent my childhood around men and have picked up a lot from them [Daddies girl here all the way].
I like men very much especially the way they see a problem, they look for an answer. They don't talk about it all day, they just look for a way to fix it. I am like that and irritate my girls because they want to tell me their troubles and I want to give them solutions, which they reject cause they just want to talk, not solve. I get irritated because a problem told to me means they are looking for solution.
