I know how you feel. I am also a plus size mixed race woman. Yes, they want to email, talk on phone, Instant message, or meet to hit it and forget it, but none seem to want a real woman for a real relationship. I have guys viewing my profile just to not even leave a message. Yes, I do get the black guys who just want a bbw to use and throw away. I have dated white guys most my life. The few black guys I have tried to email, say they want a barbie type girl. Also some that have gotten ahold of me on other site are disabled, couch potatos, or guys with big bear guts that just want to sit around and drink.
I myself am well educated, warm friendly old fashion girl, but in a longterm relationship can open to other things. I feel you sister. It is sad. Those that do want a good LTR are married to women who don't pay attention to them anymore. So it is really sad. I am not giving up hope though and I hope don't either.
Just because we are big beautiful women, does not mean we will settle for anything. I have had nice gay women hitting on me lately, I am totally straight, but the thought has crossed my mind of switching over, if I knew my family would not disown me.

Most likely the same place all the serious women are at.You REALLY think we men dont run into the same /similar problems? We do ,just most wont admit it IS a problem. I WANT to settle down and have the security,comfort,etc. of being married(I had it for 24 years)AND in love AND loved BY the "ONE",it will happen when it does and that's all there is to it.Ya cant force it to happen,so just take things as they are and enjoy it while you can!

ma'am I mean absolutely no disrespect at all by anything i'm about to say it's just a observation n a personal opinion.
Reading your profile and blogs you stated, that you wanted a man that's not into playing games, but yet you ran your own survey on men or however you put it. That is like a game in it's own right? Also try not to catagorize all men in the same way. All men are not just looking for hookups if your looking for a more serious dating site perhaps try a pay site there more people tend to be serious lookin for a relationship. just my 2 cents

I, for one, am very serious about this whole process. I'm not looking for a one night stand or mindless sex; I'm looking for a much deeper connection. I want the intelligence, the sense of humor, the intangible "once in a lifetime" attraction that can only be produced by finding a woman that turns out to be the missing piece of the puzzle that is my life. I am not alone, either. There are plenty of men out there who feel the same way that I do, but no small amount of patience will be required to find one.

Nice guys are out there. I have gone on a few dates lately, so I know. Just have not found the right one yet. Went out with one guy now 3 times, but he takes care of his mother, plus trying to run own business. One thing, I can't get across to him about his breath. He needs to brush, floss or do something. Other then that the guy is very nice.

I've only been on here a short time and have already run into a lot of jokers. I see it this way...i'm already single and the worst i'll get out of this process is still being single. I have my "online dating rules". I won't meet for sex, i'll call you out on your BS, and you will not get my phone number or a phone call from me unless you make me feel comfortable via email. Period. If you aren't willing to take the time to make me comfortable with you on my terms, then we don't meet. I don't know them anyway so what's the big deal? Guys seem to think i'm playing games by doing this, but quite the contrary. I'm trying to eliminate the game players and needy weirdos before they have my phone number. You are a beautiful woman. If you don't find someone "here", don't be discouraged. It's worth a shot, but don't get your hopes up. The internet is a breeding ground for goofballs so it takes time to find the men who are "normal" like you. LOL
