I was a single parent for 18 years, juggling school, job, kids and supporting them on my own, but never, never did i use my children as a weapon agianst thier other parent or badtalk them, when you do that, and decide you want a relationship with someone-significant other, your asking for big trouble where the children will use that same way to multipulate away the person you choose to share in your life...and also that is a great song too!
Its sad when you go to start a relationship with someone who has children and you are made to feel uncomforable, when you decide to go the long haul, not to be the other parent, but to be treated as the other parent has been presented to the child, SAD!

Agree, I can say that even though my first x and I have had our ups and downs we have always made the best of it for my son! And we always work together for his own good!
My daughters father ,well I refuse to bad mouth him to my child, I try my best to give her all she deserves and even when she ask's why wont my daddy visit me, I hate making up excuses for him but if it keeps her from feeling that he doesnt care well then by all means thats what she will get! she will grow up and learn the truth one day when she decides to meet him if she decides, but for now, she is all that matters and I wont let her know he doesnt care!!
