Is it just me, or are there more of you out there who have found themselves in the conundrum of wanting this and that in a partner, but NEEDING something completely different? I hate the idea of falling in love with a woman to find out that I love her for what I think she is, or what I want her to be... The best relationships I have ever had were with women who didn't match my "perfect woman" criteria. Once you get past the skin, and truly find the beauty within someone, the very definition of relationship changes. Anyone else out there been a victim of your own material pickiness? With honesty and understanding, I have found that the reality of who I'm with becomes far more wonderful that the dreams of who I thought I'd want to be with.
