We all know that not everyone that we might approach will think the same way we do. This is just the way of the world. Hopefully. we can communicate with more people that do think we are a match.
When someone you write to tells you "we're not a match", what do you do?
a. just accept it and move on
b. say "thanks and good luck" and move one
c. ask them WHY they think there is no match
d. other
I pretty much just say "thanks and good luck" and then make note of who they are so I do not send another note later, forgetting that I already sent one. It is my opinion that they had a good reason for saying "no match" and I am not interested in finding out why and would not even contemplate arguing with them. I figured out that on Plenty of fish, the reason a guy might just delete my note without reading it after I send them a note is that they also think we are not a match. That site also allows the person who sent the note to see when the person who accepted it is online on a line above the mail entries. If a guy takes a look at my profile and thinks we are not a match, they just delete my note without reading it so I cannot see when they are online easily.

I do D. Thanks and good luck. I have also sent the same message to men that have contacted me. If I feel that there is no match I will write them and thank them for their interest and let them know that I do wish them the best in their search.
I have had a few get rude with me on these messages but then I have also had some respond with thanking me for letting them know and wishing me luck on my search also.
If they do not respond then I just take it that they are not interested.

i rarely get a reply if they aren't interested.
just a read/deleted in the sent message section.
don't really ask them anything personal,
just ice breaker questions, or comment about their pics.
the peculiar ones i find are the ones who write,
you respond and they never answer back...

I haven't had anyone tell me; they just stop writing so I pretty much accept it as their way of communicating, or not knowing how to communicate, no biggie. Probably saving me some kind of issue don't the road. When I think we're not compatible, I tell them. But I am nice about it.  NEXT!

Not a match? I'm old enough to remember the tv show The Match Game. I thought Gene Rayburn was kinda creepy. If I'm not a match no big deal, I was prolly thinking he wasnt a match either.

I am with Kaasee..Their is alot of fish'n you can do. I tell my friends that I am on the CATCH AND RELEASE program. I catch them and have fun for awhile then I cut them loose...

Had a few messages back and forth with a couple girls, and a couple just stopped writing after the first exchange. I usually send a follow up, and then move on. I don't take their stupidity personally

Because it says "deleted" as the status, doesn't mean she didn't read it. Just FYI. Also, put yourself in women's shoes (ahem* not literally) for a minute. If you got dozens of emails a day, would you find the time to respond to all of them? I would imagine it gets old after a while.

To be honest a "match" within a set of two people is a gamble.. Trying to find your perfect match is just a wish list... For example my match wishlist is
Must be into anime
Must be a nerd
Loves video games
Plays online
Is loving/caring
Adventorous
Buffets is a must..
Ect..
But someone who says "were not a match. Its not gonna work out" is someone that says "oh I'm sorry your not what I'm expecting" its annoying.. If they don't want to take a chance and dive into something really interesting then its pointless.. But if your a strong person with aspects of life I say keep trying if u like that person a lot... The world may be full of rules... But many are made to be broken!!

some things are plain as the nose on your face, hence NO MATCH
I am into a very, very healthy lifestyle, live in Chandler, 54, educated and I could add more. If a guy's profile portrays someone whose lifestyle is NOT healthy...... NO MATCH instantly...... I am very open minded and have had some experiences that were so OPEN i almost had to have my former brain surgeon come back and close the hole........
I have learned to seek certain things up front and no longer want to have my time wasted. what had happened to me is that i told a guy who approached me that we were not a match and said some polite things and he argued with me.

Usually I just move on. I might ask why just so I know if it's something that turns women off in general which means I need to change something. I once met a woman at a coffee shop so we could chat and see if we were compatible. After a little while she politely said she didn't want to hurt my feelings or anything but she wasn't feeling any kind of chemistry between us. And I appreciated the honesty. I never saw her again but she was honest and truthful and I think that's the most important thing. I also had another one who I met at about 10:00 at night. She took one look at me and "suddenly remembered" she had an appointment with a police detective to discuss some trouble her "son" was in. GIve me a break. Needless to say I never saw her again and I say good riddance. The point is be honest. If you're just not feeling it, say so. It will eventually come out and the other person may feel like you've betrayed them and have been lying to them.

Oh hell I already know I'm not a match with 99% of women.( There is that 1% out there)
So I don't worry about putting on any kind of a front or have any really cool pickup lines. I'm just "me" plain, simple and easy going most of the time.
If something should happen along the way that's great,if not, well that's ok too.I'll just go fishing,camping or hunting by myself. I am a match with myself.
I've figured out over the years that I like me just the way I am
(I'm really a pretty good guy) and I don't need or want anyone trying to change me or mold me into something I'm not.
Don't get me wrong,I do love the women and have many as dear friends. But in the long term romance dept. I guess my criteria and expectations outweigh and exceed the reality of life.
consequentially I'm single and not really looking for that match made in heaven.
So why am I on a dating site ? Gotta keep the door open for that 1%.

the AZ chat blog has people who write comments and others do comment on them.
people also write emails to others, and some people will respond and some seem to just delete the email and do not respond. seems to depend on the kind of person they are, i suppose
if i take the time to send an email to someone, it just seems logical that a response would occur, but that is not always the case. if someone just deletes my message, i believe that they have thier own reason for not bothering to reply and I just move on
there are plenty of people who are willing to respond, I just need to find them
