Come join other singles for our Saturday Singles Night at the Penthouse Lounge! Many of us had so much fun at the first meet and greet here and so did the owner! He wants to start a monthly singles night at the Penthouse. Though the venue is not huge, it is a great place for conversation and fun!
The Penthouse Lounge is located at 84th and K, across from H & H Chevrolet. It offers an intimate, safe and friendly atmosphere. There will be karaoke by D J Johnny-O along with great music and dancing.
Everyone wearing a wristband will get $.50 off their drinks for the night! to get your wristband, just check in at with the host or greeter. You do not have to be a datehookup member to get a wristband, so bring your friends! If these evenings are a success, we can expect more specials from the Penthouse.

Unlike the meet and greets, this event is presented as a chance to just come and hang with other singles on a regular basis. It is an opportunity to have great conversation and fun with other singles that are looking for something to do on a Saturday night. There will be no formal activities but there will always be a host/hostess present to help with introductions.

This looks like a much older crowd. I'm NOT YOUNG, but am younger...where do all the people in their early 40's go for these kind of events?????
You are doing a good job at putting these events together and finding these places, and I'm sure they are purposely close to your home area, but do you think you could try to find some a little more mid-town every now & then instead of waaaay out southwest? Bet you'd get more to attend if they didn't have to drive so far away. Not everyone lives in Millard or Papillion. I've wanted to attend the last couple of events but they are too far away for me.

This looks like a much older crowd in their 50s and 60s.(no offense) I'm NOT YOUNG, but am younger...where are all the people my age?  Where do all the people in their early 40's go for these kind of events? Is there somewhere to go on this site to see all the get together events...like when & where they are located? Maybe there are some closer to my area that I just don't know about.

I appreciate your thanks and your interest.
I just began hosting last month and did so at a venue that I was comfortable with. The second venue was chosen by a group of people, again at a venue that someone knew about. I guess we know what is in our area. We have to start somewhere! We plan on hosting other events as the weather gets nice in different venues. The meet and greets will be held at a different location each time. We hope to do some outdoor events in the future.
The monthly events, like the one at the Penthouse will remain there. We may add more monthly activities.
Anyone can host an event. Since we are just beginning and there haven't been many events in the past we are learning as we go. I encourage anyone to step up and host an event, it is fun and a great way to meet people.
These events are posted on other sites and there are younger people signed up. We actually get a lot of people in their 30's and 40's.
Give one of them a try...they can be a lot of fun and a great way to meet a lot of new people!

I have learned you can't please everyone. I also know that if I don't like the way thins are done or want something done a different way, I just volunteer to do it. However, the planning group will take all suggestions into account. Feedback is appreciated.
