My first suggestion is to make up a flier about a FREE dating site and post it around your town in the stores and markets. your perfect match might just be local instead of half way around the world.
Feel free to post your ideas on how to get the word out.

Here's another idea.
Go to vistaprint.com and have business cards made up (you can get them free, just pay shipping) with the info from the flier and pass them out to your friends and just maybe that person you saw walking around town that you thought was hot.

This is a very good idea. I wonder if there is anyone around that is good at designing flyers? We would want maybe 2, one in color and one black and white (so it could be quickly printed by a home printer).
If we had a decent sized army we could really spread the word.

Idea #3 - this one might cost you some money, but hey would it be worth $50 to save a long distance plane ticket or a lot of gasoline.
Our local radio station has something they call the Radio Classifieds for as little as $10 per week. Bring them the ad copy from the flier and they'll put it on the radio.

I'll see what I can do from here. I already tell everyone I know... Some have joined. I'm living near a very large senior community and they already have many clubs and activities where they have the opportunity to meet in person, but, you never can tell. It's worth a try. If they come in, it will be a LARGE increase in the 50+ threads, that's for sure!
