I could say the same thing about women meeting men. It is hard to meet anyone these days with all the rules and regulations about what is proper. I grew up in Fairfield County but have lived just over the line in Litchfield County for the past 30 years.

I think after we all reach a certain age it's just harder to met the opposite sex..Some men seem to have no problem asking if a woman is single, others are just not comfortable asking.

I think that it is no easy to find people here in Ffld. Most of the ladies that I chat with are far away. I wish I could find nice friends in this area.

Men can have it easier if they are brave enough to handle rejection, if you're a parent get to know other parents, pick the mother of one of your children's friends and ask her if she knows any single woman....Remember also in Fairfield County married woman really like showing off their wedding rings, so don't be afraid to ask a woman you see without a ring if she is married, just do so in public (like the grocery store) it's less threatening....Just be considerate if she rejects your attention
