Trapped!! I live in a valley and the parking lot is also downhill, so there's no getting out until the plow comes. The sidewalks and road is too deep to go for a walk any longer than 10 feet, so homebound on a Saturday night...dang! Listening to the Leafs game and hoping for a win!
Snow, Snow, go away....!!!

It is now Sunday night. I stayed in all day on Saturday - read a book. No use going out as most of the time could not see more than a few feet. This morning it was bright and sunny, but we had at least a foot and a half of snow in all walkways and driveway. Walked to church by then the plow had come and now have 3 feet of snow at the end of the driveway. Spent time this afternoon shovelling out the walkways - it gets tiring when you are lifting the snow to waist height to throw it over the bank. Cleared off the car, but was too tired to start on the driveway. It will have to wait until tomorrow. Days like this make me wish I lived in a condo with paid snow removal.

It was so nice to wake up to a fine sunny day today!!! Like you Londen, I spent yesterday indoors with a good book and catching up on e-mails. How is the car shopping going?
My neighbour came by to clear my laneway this AM and my daughter came by this afternoon to help shovel the rest of the snow from my walk.------and probably to use my computer as hers is down.

Well woke up Sunday morning and went to see if could get my truck moving before the plow came by and guess what I found...someone had buried my truck on three sides..six feet deep and four to five feet front and back..you could not even see it from the road..The side facing the house was still free of snow..someone really had a lot of time on their hands..had to hire two men with shovells and a plough to dig it out and it took three hours. Went to work today and one of the girls told me that her son comming home at 2 in the morning saw some kid shovelling madly doing it...
