I am seriously beginning to think that it is a waste of time..Seems that when you try to be polite and considerate, others arent. Simple common manners such as thank you, have gone the way of a 2 dollar gas..Oh well, my two cents worth

I'm beginning to wonder myself. I mean, I have invested the time to spruce up the profile, I have some decent pics, I wrote enough about myself to strike up interest...
...or so I thought.
The thing that frustrates me is when you send someone a message, and they don't have the decency, or whatever, to respond, even if they aren't interested. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth that women who claim to be adults can't even show the courtesy to take 15 seconds to say "thanks but no thanks".

Is it really worth the time to come on this site and look for women that dont wont anything to do with anyone. I guess womens theses days wants a rich man so they can kill him off, and have the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!

You are exactly right kac...I am not conceited by any stretch of the imagination..but seems 99.9% of the women in the Chattanooga area are waiting on either Kevin Costner or a Mr. Moneybags, cause they are not exactly what you would call responsive...Hell a simple thanks but no thanks is a start toward being a real live human..

I don't even concider it time, lol. i have met alot of very nice sincere ladies here, I just have to pick which one I want. I love ladies and they seem to love me back, so this is well worth my time. I don't sleep around, so I am very picky.

The guys are just as inconsiderate as the ladies I see. No responses, and thier all looking for Barbie instead of sincere. JMO A waste of time? No, I have met several people who have become very good friends. Wouldn't take back one minute to lose them!! Have fun with it and enjoy.....

That's right Lookin. Not all of us are a size 2 anymore. We may have gained a little weight, have a few gray hairs, and when we look in the mirror, we may see a new line that wasn't there yesterday. But even though our physical appearance may have changed, we are still that little 16 yr. old girl inside, wanting, now, the same things we wanted then. Only now, we are a little more realistic in our expectations.
And I am not looking for someone's paycheck. I can do that myself. I want an honest human being that is sincere and natural.

I just realized I got off the thread a little there. I guess it depends upon what you are looking for, as to whether this site is worth it or not. If you're looking for friends to idle away the time with, this is a good start. As far as romance, if it's meant to be, it will happen, no matter where you are! Don't they always say, "If it's worth having, it's worth waiting for?"

I think not. The fact is, we're all here because we're looking for something better than we can find just out and about. Think about that for a second. The men here are writing women who can't find what they're looking for in a bar, expecting to have better luck than if they strolled right up to them. I'm guilty of the same thing of course, I'm here also, not because I can't find anyone I could click with, but because I can't find anyone like that who's interested in me. The only way this thing could be any better than barhopping is if you were attempting deceit and used the internet as a mask to pretend to be something you aren't. I'm starting to realize what a ridiculous thing I've wasted my spare time this past week on. I hope everyone has better luck than I'm having at this!!
