Hi Gang:
Just stopping by to let you know I'm thinking about you....hope those of you who are "mending", are continuing to do so. Now I'm the one who is under the weather.....yeh, way under....I now believe what they say about the air aboard planes. I stepped on in Orlando a healthy lady....no illnesses for 10 years. By 24 hours after landing, I had a lovely coughing, sneezing, headachey case of the flu.
The good news is that, since I didn't feel much like eating, I lost a few pounds. I seem to be on the mend now, and have been reading as much as time permits....I'm using the grandchildren's computer when they are in school. I'm headed back to Florida on Saturday....that is, of course, if MY flight is NOT GROUNDED!!!
Back to topic....I'll be taking a course in Kabbalah and wondered if anyone has enough interest in it to discuss it here. I'm reading a book now, but really haven't picked up enough to explain as of yet. It appears to be an ancient philosophy....some passages are said to have been translated from the original Hebrew and Aramaic. "Kabbalah" is described as meaning "received" (an ancient wisdom received and treasured from the past.)
Anyone who has anything to add to this, will be welcome.....I'm eager to learn as many parts of the "puzzle" as possible. Will know more next week, after classes start.
