The first day with more 'dark' than light is actually Mar 17, 12 02. What a nice conjunction - first day of 12 hours of 'light', coupled with St Patty. Party time!!! And a Saturday to boot!!!! orz Portage, WI 66, joined Jul. 2010	That lizard is the coolest one I have ever seen!!! And colorful spring...really!!! lol. We made it to the solstice and each day gain a bit. It doesnt sunset til 4:35 now. It is in the 40s today and the sun is actually so warm, I sat on the lawn while the dog rooted. Did a small walkabout and a bit of outside work before coming in and realizing my face was cold. The average temp has been around the freeze mark so one nice winter. Hope it will be an early spring.

I even spotted some new growth on the rose bushes, but it will need to be removed with the spring pruning! Hooray for a mild winter in Oregon!
