Hey there!
It's extremely small. Everyone who lives here says at one time or another, "this really is a small state." I work for the state and we joke that no one ever leaves the state, they just recycle and turn up some place else.
I think DE people like to keep it small. I'm from south Jersey and I had more activity there then I have had in DE, but I do like it here. I just sometimes travel when i want some nightlife.

I think DE people just tend to stay very unlike VA, DC where most people only reside
there for a short time because of all the gov. jobs. If you are interested in meeting
new people check out Delaware Dining Society it is a social networking group that
dine once a month at a restaurant. If you are interested just google their name.

Maybe and maybe not, Delaware Dining Society seems to have a lot of people
each year that have never met before. They are having a smaller group
3 Men and 3 Women Dinner coming up and a Happy Hour at Chadds Ford
Winery. This group continues to draw different people over the age
of 35 each year.
