OKLAHOMA CITY – President Obama collected the most votes in the Oklahoma Democratic primary, but lost in 15 counties.
With 98 percent of precincts reporting Tuesday, Obama won 57 percent of the vote. Four other candidates combined for 43 percent of the vote, including anti-abortion activist and Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry who received 18 percent of the vote.
According to Democratic Party rules, Terry is eligible for a delegate since he won more than 15 percent of the statewide vote. Terry beat Obama in 12 counties, mostly in western Oklahoma.
Terry acknowledges he can't win the presidency but says he hopes to cause Obama's defeat in the fall.
Oklahoma earned the nickname "reddest of the red" states after Obama's failed to win a single county in the 2008 presidential race.

If odumba can lose counties in dem primaries, there is hope he will lose re-election. Keep your fingers crossed.

Howard Dean once said Oklahoma was just a bunch of uneducated, homaphobic, rednecks. Unemployment is low and cost of living is cheap and crime is one of the lowest in the nation. Sound like us rednecks got something right.
It is true that we have more registered democrats than republicans but even our dem's would be considered conservative. I tell people were not the home of Tom Coburn for nothing.
