It's once again time for a transition in my life. I am once aging moving back to the Brunswick area into my own home after renting and working in the Belfast area. It isn't a big move geographically, but a leap back into being back once again with friends and my own hiking trails off my back deck. Though I'm happy keeping myself occupied and busy with a full and vibrant life, I would like to have a friend, a lover when it's time, and most of all a companion to share life experiences. I am very interested in the spiritual world, looking at life from all sides beyond the mundane into the "why we are here" side of things. I love to reflect upon religions and cultures other than my own, but am not religious in a church kind of way. I have enjoyed attending the local Unitarian Universalist church in Belfast, though I don't go often. I also must be outdoors as much as possible, hiking, sailing, kayaking and exploring and traveling when that is possible. I can leave the television far behind (though I love movies-foreign and independent films best), and sit with a cup of tea and contemplate the universe for a long time. I can't wait to be on my deck listening to the Wood Thrush, my favorite sound in the entire world. Though I am still fully engaged in my work, I would love to make time to become friends first, then see what happens.
