Lets see...I suppose I'm a semi-outgoing, adventurous and creative guy who likes everything from engineering various contraptions, to athleticism and hiking up treacherous terrain (not a whole lot of it around the parts I'm currently residing in.) I enjoy travel, I like to write, I like to read, I like to dabble in novice (and I mean novice!) photography, and of course most of the regular boyish attractions, such as fishing, hunting, etc. Lately, I seem to have found a new fascination with making flower gardens, so I guess old(er) age really does bring about diversity.
I have two great little kids, and a deaf dog--oh, yeah, and somehow a couple of chickens.. I relish engaging conversation, mental challenges, and standing up for the little guy (I hate corporate America with a passion, so...go figure.) I enjoy being stubborn, I applaud defiance, and to Mike and crew over at RoadKill T-Shirts--rock on. Same to the folks at Foul Mouth (gotta' pay tribute to free speech where I can, right?)
Sometimes sorta' mean, and sometimes really sweet, I figure a diversified coverage plan to be the most flexible and effective (hey, it worked for the CIA; they sure jewballed the Ruskies out of most of the Pacific theater, now didn't they?) I am a compassionate person (with animals, it comes easily, and with people...sometimes.  I leave that one up to them, but--as has been said in a blog or two somewhere--everybody gets one.)
They claim this is a dating site  so I suppose that suggests I indicate some type of preferrence. I dunno......seems to be a lot of people full of bullsh*t out there... I like a girl that can mix up her sense of humor. I also enjoy someone who *appreciates* a sense of humor! I can handle occasional immaturity--in fact, people willing to theatrically indulge it are usually far nicer, and they're a helluva lot more enjoyable to chat with. Now greedy people; they just plain suck no matter what the circumstances! I like a person who has at least enough guts (50% works well) to occasionally initiate communication--show's the door of interest swings both ways.  Most of all I'd like someone who truly wants something beyond "friends"--like the t-shirt says: "F*** that; I have enough Friends." 
Hobbies I like are listed below. I think the online dating check-off sheet has become so formal, and so detailed, *digital* dating is no longer any fun (and if the blogs have any relevance on this or other sites, not much purpose, either). As many of my spoofy and outlandish posts upon this site may have indicated, I'm not here because I take any of it seriously. I'm here because seriously....online dating needs to lighten up.
