I grew up on a farm on the river and still live there. Not much for going off of it, either. A few good friends are worth more than a ton of acquaintances. Met my late husband (married 31 years til he died) through motorcycles...were both bikers;rode my own chopper. Read lots, especially non-fiction. Like history, sciences, nature, animals, lapidary, all crafts like woodworking, metals, stone, painting, sculpting, sewing and others. Have to keep my hands going, can't stand just sitting. My mind goes constantly so I flit from project to project and usually have 12 things in progress. Dislike crowds, big social gatherings or public events. I can tear a classic car apart, build a house, kill & butcher and tan the hide and carve the bone. I belong to a mountainman buckskinners club. At the same time, I love renaissance fairs and gowns. Dress up to go to town or out to dinner. I am looking for friends to chat with on DH as penpals and for the chats and forums as my social media.
