To me, life is a passionate journey from beginning to end. I'm a sensitive person with passion involved in all my endeavors. I am truthfull, open and honest with my feelings. Not afraid to cry from my emotions. When I love, it's sincere and comes from my soul. I'm not one to love em' & leave em'. I believe in complete loyalty in a relationship and demand the same in return. I've never been one to play the field. I believe in knowing someone first before getting physical. This could be an immediate attraction that happens in an evening or could take months to cultivate if I feel the person is worth the wait. To me, intimacy can just be having a cup of coffee with a special person..just talking can fill ones soul. This extends to making love and a long term relationship. I enjoy flying (I'm a retired Air Force Colonel), collecting coins and gemstones (I just received my degree in Gemology at 55). I have a hilarious sense of humor and have done some stand-up comedy. I love to cook gourmet foods for people who can appreciate them, but don't forget Hamburgers and Hot Dogs..LOL! I'm a devout animal lover, and have had had the chance once in my life to have a special dog that I rescued at 5 weeks, nursed to health and he NEVER needed to be trained. He just did what I asked! I was blessed with him for 12 years until I had to put him down...He ended up being a German Shepard/Great Dane mix and weighted 160 Lbs! He was my best friend, and saved my family from a home invasion while I was out of the country. I'm looking for a warm and caring woman who is secure in herself and knows how to be loving and compassionate, to feel the flow of energy and love that passes between two people in just a kiss, holding hands, a hug and while making love we can become one. To be loyal and stand at my side in mutual support and as an equal in our relationship.
I desire a woman who knows no violence and can talk out problems and never go to bed mad. It's not healthy for a relationship. This woman should want the relationship and bond to grow stronger every day of our lives (which doesn't just happen by itself, it takes hard work and commitment). She can feel and be independent, work if she wants or not- as long as she is doing something with her life that she feels is fruitful, such as a hobby, volunteer work or whatever enriches her life or pleases her. She should respect the value of money and understand it didn't grow on trees for me and respect me for that, but in a loving relationship there are no percentages. What's mine is hers and hers is mine. I may be stupid, and my heart may be talking, but I would not make my future mate sign a prenuptual agreement. When I do enter into a lifetime committment, I would expect the same from her because if she has the qualities of true love and friendship, none of this is necessary. She must posess a passion for life and have passion towards me and lovemaking. Above all, we both need to be best friends.
