It's been 30 years...... by mtrctylady at 11/25/2014 3:26:52 PM Yesterday would have been my mother's 94th birthday. Usually, whenever her birthday comes, I tip a glass of wine to her and say "love ya Lizzie." (Our joke) But, for some reason it hit me hard yesterday. Even though we didn't get along with each other on a lot of issues, I loved her dearly. Just before she passed, which was quite sudden, we had been talking and laughing a lot. So, my friends, if you could bear with me, I'd like to dedicate this song to my mother, Lizzie. Here's to you old girl! My mother's and my relationship was similar but I do love her very much and miss her greatly..She was 94 when she passed in 2004. I am so greatful for the things we did share together and I know she is in a happy place. I feel she is looking down on me as your mom is doing the same..
