I'm on this one all the time, and just go to POF to check if anyone sent me anything. Like susie said, this one is more fun.

Singles had open chat rooms listed by states and PA room had a what I called Meat and Greet (sometimes in that order too). I went to a couple and met some nice people but most I would never invite to my home. Not nice but true.
soccerrocker21 online now!	12/14/2010 5:22:28 AM I went to 1 meet and greet that was set up by someone here. It was totally unorganized, and I didn't even meet anyone. It was set up at a bar (which is already not my setting), a room was supposed to be reserved but none was, there was no way to identify anyone from DH, and the event date was during the World Series. The day also just happened to be the last game of the Series when the Giants won, so you can imagine how many people were there in general. I stayed and watched the game and some of the UFC fight and left after the game.
null_n_void online now!	12/14/2010 5:32:45 AM ut oh deacon...should I blush here? I am in Elizabethtown but gone to York and Highspire M&G's. Have you been to any? York was perfect place.Motel..bar and resturant all within staggering distance and i did laugh a lot.
chek1678 online now!	12/14/2010 5:45:27 AM I've been on the years on a number of them but have found that this site has been much more rewarding. I truly have met many folks that I can call friends through this site and know they are for real. We've shared much laughter, food and many ((Hugs), and have made many memories to last a lifetime through Meet and Greets either at a party or weekend camping meets. It will be two years since we had our first one and it will continue as long as there are those will to come and join in. Even tho I've not met that certain someone, for those I have met, will always bring a smile and a memory of good times. As a "Host" of two camping weekends, I treasure each in this trip through life...all have a great day...

I have tried it but I’m becoming a true believer that the old fashion way (meeting in person by chance) is the best. You can still be misled, lied to and cheated. But one thing for sure you know what the person looks like and have an up front basic knowledge of what to expect. The computer talks this away from ya..

null_n_void online now!	12/14/2010 6:50:22 AM I didn't mention I know quite a few couples that have met online and now married or living together but then I have seen marriages break-up as well. Everything is so accelerated and people are so open when not face to face that a stranger on the net can know more about you then the spouse you had for 20 years. Has it's benefits and can be a means to meet someone that you never would have in real life but not sure it is route to go??????????? Rancid.....get a generator...lol Soccer....I know what you mean by meets not being organized and like on here they have their cliques and look right past you. The games were probably more entertaining then some of the people you would have met anyways. smile
null_n_void online now!	12/14/2010 6:54:20 AM Wow jdw....I love Mt Joy...such a pretty little town. Hate E-town but a place to live. Been here 5 years and only person I know by name is my mechanic and I get lost a lot but found out we have M&M candy here and a train station and like 5 Turkey Hill's. I even joined the American Legion here and been there twice in 3 years. Sure ain't like Lancaster and even Mt Joy's Legion was friendlier. hahahaha

I like blogging. did pof hated it. set for marriage all scmmers match all scammers singles net no fun bbw sight too that really sucked know one on that at all The paid sights where the worst I've been single ten years. And have gone on only two or three blind dates a year. Online dating ins't for everyone. I'm hooked on blogging now and don't date off here. But if it happens cool!!! I go to single dances in my town and active single groups and just don't worry about it anymore.
