I don't think any man would be "intimidated" by a woman whom wears glasses, but possibly rather "prefer" a woman without glasses if that were the case. I wear glasses while I'm in my home and/or when running errands. When I go out to bars or on a date, I always wear contacts. I believe I look better without the glasses and it is easier to appreciate my make-up. This thread made me take the time to think back if I had ever dated anyone who wore glasses on a regular basis (I'm excluding those that might have worned readers') and the answer is NO.

Doesn't matter, that just applied the men you've encountered there in Philly.. As far I know most men I've dated we're more attracted to me in my glasses which I thought was just grand because I am blind without them! Haha You're beautiful Chica, don't let a few insecure guys make you think you're not attractive because you wear glasses! That's just ridiculous!

Glasses aren't the big deal they once were.
true...unless they're coke bottles which I used to have cuz left eye was legally blind and right eye was half legally blind...then I got lasix and went to 20/20! But it doesnt prevent one from still needing reading glasses later on...it doesnt stop eyes from aging...but was still well worth it to me cuz you dont have to wear them only but when you read

Interesting topic I have an eyeglass fetish for some reason. So if I look at it as a positive, there is someone that will see it as a negative.
I was on a date with a guy and he asked me to take off my glasses, because he thought I would be prettier. I did take them off, not because he asked me to. I took them off so I then would not have to see him and could finish eating my dinner.
Glasses on a man is so sexy to me. Umph lol
