I am 5'5 I dont have a problem dateing guys shorter then me. I just prefer them being taller or the same height as me. But Its whats INSIDE that counts.

Ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrr morning bigdog  I am only a small woman just over 5ft tall or short whichever may be the case.... I love being small nice things come in small packages and all the big ones like to look over me...ooops shouldnt that be look after me...I do like taller men Im honest about that only because of the protective factor but i would date a man regardless of his height or lack of thereof....To me its the persons personality and if theres chemistry and connection.. Height really plays no part in it... smile it does wonders....

Honey, it has nothing to do with your approach. It's the girls that have the problem seeing you for who you are.
Keep your head up, and don't worry about these little things. There's someone that will see you for who you are and not what you have.
***Don't focus on what you don't have. Focus on what you DO have, work with it, and make the best out of what God's given you. I am pretty sure you have much more to offer than just your height. YOU are the whole package deal,(your genuine love and TLC) is what you have to give. The one who knows it (and shows you the same) will be the one to keep.

Well, it`s just preference! Some men prefer women with large breasts.Some men prefer women with a great behind and brown eyes.
There are women that do not have height requirements.There are men that do not have breast requirements!

truth?
1. if you are looking to procreate, and your kids would go to public school... short boys tend to get the crap beat out of them, so a female would look for a taller male to mate with.
2. shorter men tend to have more emotional issues, they whine and cry alot...
3. its primal, females say they do not feel the need for it,
in our society, women are supposed to be able to take care of them selves..
but it comes down to this question, "can this man protect me?"
i laugh at this really, because i think for the average male in the last 40 years that need to protect women has been breed out, and have been told since women want "equal rights", they can do the protection thing on their own....
and so comes the crying male... so sensitive these days...
4. well if you take all those factors out, and your not a short cop with a gun. i would take a short guy... if he was big enough, in other areas...lol...

a lot of people have "preferences", I like tall guys but im not shallow to the point that i wouldnt consider a guy because of his height..dynamite comes in small packages they always say!
Same reason men prefer a certain bodytype, is preference. I'm attracted to tall men but it certainly is no deal breaker if he is shorter. Heck I'm short..he wouldn't have to be all that tall. lol
Being 5'9-5'10 myself its hard to find a man taller than me especially since I like to wear heels...To be honest it doesn't matter his height but it is a little disconcerning when I "tower" over a man and if he is on the skinny side too, wowsers! Makes me feel huge! The last guy I had a serious relationship with was 5'7 he loved my height...I think its more the womans insecurity than a mans...
Why is it that when somebody asks a question and specifically asks for an honest answer, everybody talks out both sides of their face?
Is it so difficult to just say the truth?
I mean if this was actually a "poor me" short guy thread he wouldn't have asked for the ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
Now here I am: the asshole because I read all these posts from people patting the OP on the back and assuring him "It's all good cause good things come in small packages". When the truth is that shorter men ARE discriminated against and women DO prefer taller men.
So who is going to stuffing rose petals up his azz and give him a straight answer?
