As I listen to the sweet sounds of the evening birds,
Are they really singing sounds of joy or sadness?
Do they feel the hardness and the gladness
Have I reached a point in my life
Where love and live collide?
Or is it just the mortal ride?
Will the sun really shine tomorrow
Or only once again bring me sorrow'
Recalling what I once had?
Is my life over or is it just my dream?
Is there really a love for me out there?
Or am I just a traveler somewhere?
Does love really exist in my future?
Or is it a mockery of what I believe?
Oh lord, how I grieve.
Test me once more and let me discover
The true love in my heart and soul
That I have longed once again to hold.

just don't "settle for"...cause you are lonely....
"compromise" your wants, and then you may have what you wanted afterall....
you may not of known what is fantasy and realistically attainable....not every fairytale comes true....most of the time the glass slipper doesn't fit...or that prince never shows up for us to see if it fits or not!
remember..."caste not your pearls among swine"...nor your heart either....

Means: He has been with the wrong women; his desire is to be with his true love and not to settle with someone that isn't the one.
He, my true love, hasn't found me yet. But he aches to find to find me, his true love.
Although, I've not met him yet...
