Why do so many people think there are "rules" when it comes to dating? 
Sex will happen when the two individuals involved agree that it "feels" right. It may take three months, or it may be five minutes after they meet. It all depends on the level of attraction and chemistry between those two people.
It really is that simple.
So true. I did have a "rule" and have done the whole taken my time chatting thing. Chemistry and similar interests is harder to find in person as sometimes you click from talking and wait to meet and it's just not there. Other times you may want to meet after talking a short time when the chemistry is there and in person things go well.
When everything else seems right it ends to make me wonder if the chemistry in bed will be there too.
When you are a passionate person you want to find out if that person and you click well.
Done the dating for months before even allowing a hand being "misplaced" and then the kissing and everything else was really bad and was an UUUGGGHHH moment where you know you have spent all this time together and just completely turned off now.

And this is why waiting for too long is a bad idea. You have to let nature take it's course. If it feels right, go for it. That gets it out of the way, you can see if you can please each other, and the real will come out in both of you. Forget arbitrary rules and follow your instincts.

well think of it this way.. if you marry someone who you had sex with from the start.. what exactly is gonna happen when you get sick of each other (which lets face it, normally happens these days) .. and all you have to fall back on is that great sex.. if you ask me, its important that a relationship starts off as a friendship because thats what your gonna think about when your both yelling at each other and moving in hotels 8 years later..

agree there has to be a connection but at the same time it doesn't go on a time table of when or whatever. That's the point that I am getting at. A lot of factors take president. Such as how openly you talk to one another, what you share and so on. The attraction part is debate able in that what one considers attraction is generally based on self. It's very Low on the list of whats important. My point is setting limits and expectations on a time table insures nothing. If anything it just becomes more attractive to players. Your playing a game and since they play games as a way of life they play it with you. The goal is to get what you consider your greatest treasure. Whats between your legs. So they play the game lying and so forth till they get that. Once they have it they move on. Bottom line is you want a guarantee you won't be hurt again that's why you play that game. The only problem with that is there are no guarantees at all. You take a chance and if it works you get more than you could ever imagine, if it doesn't you get hurt and move on and try again. The main thing here is if your playing a game so will the players, it's what they do daily, and it's what you'll attract playing stupid games

it happens these days because your seeking self not love to start with. The problems that cause the yelling and so forth have always been there, but the attitude [state of mind is different these days]. Now a days because it's all about you and not love no one fights to make it work. They keep divorce as a option to moving on to someone else. A state that is growing worse and worse these days. Because everyone follows the trend not the truth. 99.9% of those speaking on here only care about themselves and what they want. May not like that fact but it's a lot easier than working at a marriage for most who see it as something they'll never get exactly what they want in. So they move on to the next and try again only now they have begun a down ward trend to seeking self more and more until after so many failures love is just a word to them

When I have reached a point of knowing beyond any doubt that my feelings for her are true and genuine love and I'm not confusing it with lust or infatuation.
It generally takes me at least 5 to 6 months of steady consistent dating before I am there.

As long as we're alternating the bill between dates then I really don't mind the 90 day or any other made up rules to dating. I mean think about it, if we don't really know each other how am I to know that a ladies not aiming for a free meal for 3 months before moving on at day 89? Some men use women for sex and some women use men for free sh!t.

Why go through the dating process if the goal is sexual gratification?
If the purpose of dating is to have a relationship and sex is part of
a relationship then wait till after you are in a relationship.
The quantity of dates is irrelevant to sex if sex is the primary goal.
It is only relevant if used to determine suitability for a relationship.
