The car is definitely.... a 1959 Buick Convt... I would say there was a fire and the water spray from the Fire Truck or Hose cause the icicle formation... Now the cup no doubt was a large Cup of Coffee a Policeman was standing around with his finger up his a** eating donuts watching the fire and when the spray hit him and he took with his donuts and leaving the cup on the car..

Fact sheet...

Buick introduced all new model names for 1959 including LeSabre, Invicta, Electra and Electra 225. The flagship Electra 225 nameplate came on three models, 4 door hardtop, 4 door Riviera hardtop and 2 door convertible. Although the “225? was meant to represent the length of the car in inches, only the 4 door cars were a true 225 inches long. The Electra 225 Convertible was based on the regular Electra 2 door hardtop and shares its body dimensions which stretched only to 220.6 inches. Unique to the Electra 225 Convertible were standard leather bench seats and optional leather 1st year bucket seats (neither leather nor bucket seats were offered on any other 1959 Buick model).

Of the 285,089 Buicks produced in 1959, only 5,493 were Electra 225 Convertibles (less than 2%). Estimates suggest that less than 200 of these cars survive, and of these, no more than a handful that were factory equipped with optional bucket seats and air conditioning

Hey Bull... I'm baaaccckkkk...No WORK got done this weekend. Next week is back to 39 or so..definitely warm enough to work outside. Never figured out why it is; when 65 is too cold in summer...brrrr. Adams-Farwell 1906 car is on youtube. Only one in existence. Deer hunting this week so iffy to walk outside too far. And I dont miss going AT ALL. Did it for almost 20 years. I woke up opening morning at 5 am this week. Thought of the old days...get up, stagger into as many clothes as I could get on, grab rifle, load, stumble in cold dark to stand. Stand, sit, stand, sit. Listen...deer??? Sun starts to rise...wind starts to blow...SQUIRREL shows...grrrr. Down with ski mask...glasses fog. Mask up. Nose cold. Mask down..glasses, nose, glasses. OH HELL! Why dont I just stand here and wave a FLAG!!! And then figuring all the deer were at their convention in the Dells, partying and laughing at us idiots out here. Or if one got shot, drag that sucker through the brush 300 miles after gutting it, into town, back home, hang and skin and and. So..rolled over in bed, hugged the dog and WENT BACK TO SLEEP and dreamed of 40 Ford coupes.

I din't go deer hunting this year, but I did bring home a deer rifle today
I stoped at my gun smith friend on my way to get gas [the long way] and He showed me two
differant guns & I liked both but I din't wish to buy them so I offered him one of mine
for his two and he took the deal. Brought mine home but he is takeing me out to lunch
tomarow when he comes to get his a Hudson bay trade gun in 20 ga. that he made.
What I got is a 1888 manlicker mouser in 8mm 18" barrel nice, and a replica of a
Civil War Forager shot gun in 24 ga. Also he is bringing a lot of 8mm ammo & stuff for both guns as I understand? I also bought a box of .32 H&R magnums I spoted for $20 and
that was a dandy find for me to. I have a Lighting in .32,.32 H&R Mag, & 32-20 One sweet
shooting pistol with two cylinders one is for the 32-20.
I have't done a gun trade in a while, feels good

That reminds me..I have some avocados in the basement frig that ought to be checked for ripeness. Checked out the matchbox and cars at wallyworld yesterday..nothing I want. But, saw a ratrod that is copy of one of Fooses. 30 something roadster. Cool. Most kids won't even know who he is tho. Bought some contact paper to use on some paper I want to cut pinstripes out of for the dash on the Impala. See if it works. Looking at the skull and dragon for the truck. Should get them done during down time in winter. Instead of reading mags of what other people are accomplishing. Brought home the new Hot Rod deluxe mag. $7 for a stinky mag now adays. Why dont I subscribe...oh that's right...the 26 or so for 6 issues!!! Grrr...I pay 10-15 for a year of the truck mags and rod and custom. Why does Hot Rod think they are worth more? Looked through the Ratrod in the store. Dont need to pay 7 for a few pictures and no tech. Hot Rod has a pic of an old and I mean old junkyard. Full of stacked 20-40s cars. WOW! Imagine stacking 32 five windows like so much scrap metal.

up to 30 now but windy My friend came & brought the ammo & clips, cases & bullets quite a lot realy, and we then went out for dinner Roast pork sourkraut & stuffing and he both drove & bought
Learned I titled the 8mm gun wrong as it is an model 1888 Commision calvery carbine.
Mine was a civilan gun and sold 1st in Swedon it has the 1st owners name on a copper plack on the right side of stock and it looks as he had shot 9 Moose with it?
Also learned Sears sold this rifle as a hunting rifle in the 1920's in the US.
the gun is in excelent shape.
Saw another friend at dinner and he is stoping out too.

Value is always in the eye of the beholder and buyer, the experts are just out their to try and bump up and inflate the values as it's a bussness of extending profits for them.
Price guides are just that a guide and not a value of any one item.

I'm sure you're correct in that, Star It's still fun though to see the really old pieces that show up at the pawn shop. I know the show is staged but I enjoy it anyway.

Good Morning Gearheads ... The weather is slowly getting back to normal here in San Antonio

.......didn't like this Neb Minn and Wis weather at all.. take it back..

............Do you still have to thin your Diffential Oil up North..??

I remember in 1963 a couple of AF Buddies doing Training at the Cape we all pitch in gas money in my 58 Impala and headed for Minniesnowta for the Holidays.. It was so Cold that my Granddaddy even had me park my car in the Barn with the Diary Cows.. On the morning I was leaving my car started but wouldn't move... So one of my Uncles got on the International Farmal "M" and pull me account my differential oil was to thick and froze..There was hard pack snow on the road but my Uncle pull me a mile before I could get the rear wheels turning.. I will never forget that Holiday Vacation to Minniesnowta..
the BULL..

You all have a Wonderful Thankful Thanksgiving...

Good Morning Gearheads...

...Its starting to get back to normal here in South Central Texas..

.....Y'all can have that Cold Weather Buuurrrrrrr....

I am surprise MOTOR didn't say anything about his Detroit Lions..

...... Wow they Kick Green Bay Butts good yesterday..

Cowboys had to struggle to beat the Raiders but it was a good game...

.......Steelers couldn't quite make it to beat the Raven's as Baltimore really played good last night

............I guess I can start to bing my plants out of the Garage and from under the Patio today now that it LQQk's like the Normal Texas Weather is slowly coming back..

.............Even suppose to be back in the high 70's by Tuesday..
