hmmmm, I disagree brae, some bully because of a bad life others do it for the feeling or power and control. every action has a reaction, even when you do nothing, there is a reaction. every decision you make in your life molds the life you live, some in more extreme ways then others.

I see it for there to be karma in the world of men ; that would place it in direct contrast to that of the world of nature. A wolf pup born with some congenital defect will die at the hands of its siblings or from starvation, through no fault of its own.It is only from a human's perspective that we find this a painful or sad spectacle.If karma is absent in nature that leads me to believe it's absent among mankind as well.I do believe in consequences and reaping what you sow, just not in karma though.

Yes, but thats the laws of nature... lets face it, if we were reverted to conditions of the 1700's next week a vast amount of the worlds population would die off, illness, panic, lack of meds etc etc... law of nature, the strong will survive to reproduce and make offspring with the traits needed for survival. The world we live in is much more complex then 1 single set of rules. they compliment each other in a way that it is almost a guide as to how to live. When you break it down those 2 laws pretty much tell ppl to be strong, hard working, honest and good to each other

So there's some mysterious supernatural accountant that tabulates when you've been good or bad like Santa Claus, then adds up the results and assigns you the appropriate karma? Maybe...Karma is just a statement of probability. I don't see how it could be understood any other way. This argument is probabilistic, so it does not apply to specific individuals, only random 'individuals'(not tokens but types).When karma is understood as being a relationship between a specific person and their social environment, the argument fails because it ceases to be a probabilistic argument and instead becomes blind prediction.

I'm gonna dumb it down a bit, sad to say I was thinking about this at work today. Each "law" shall we say, helps to create and maintain a balance in the world. No light without dark, good without evil, strong without weak etc etc...Law of nature, strong will survive to reproduce and carry on bloodlines that CAN survive.
Ever hear someone say everything was going so great then BAM, something bad.... I hear that all the time, it's all about balance. Karma I think is a way to tip the scales a lil in your favor by earning good

Yes,some call it optimism or good intention. If you can't tame the demons in your head and learn to mold your consciousness , what else really matters? On the other hand, knowing you create your reality does not really change anything either.
I know some folks, who knew they created their own reality, yet lived lives of scarcity and fear. These people could recite their elements of conscious creation verbatim, but couldn't create themselves out of the situation.Why? I guess they understood a theory yet still had no clue on how to apply it.

I, on the other hand, have some great Karma coming back to me, have a wonderful weekend planned with a awesome guy who is so great to me! He opens the door, always pays, is so very sweet and funny too! He really listens and puts me first..... this could be the start of something good!
