You just have to deal with loneliness. If you try fighting it, you will lose. Just have to deal with life matters as they come at you.

Find things to like about yourself. Occupy your time alone with things that you can do to pamper yourself. Get dolled up and go out in the world with the attitude that you don't need anyone to have fun and oddly enough, you won't be alone long. Look at those who approach you as an interesting distraction for the moment and enjoy it for what it is. My Mama always told me that a watched pot never boils...Mama was a smart lady!

Getting on here and chatting with others is a great way to start. Trust me I KNOW. I have had more support then I ever dreamnt about. IT HAS HELPED it's been over a year for myself.

I do what I can to stay busy, I play soccer, I go roller skating and I have groups that I belong to that has helped me make new friends so I make plans with them on the weekends....we go dancing alot but that can be hard when I look around at the couples and wished I had a guy to dance with and look at me like that, sigh

Well you have to love yourself first before you can move on..It's not really that bad if ya look at it with a open mind..You get to do as you please and with whom you please...but it does get loney sometimes...I enjoy the freedom but miss the partnership.....

Hi ladies,
Sounds like we're all in this mess together. My baby just graduated high school and I hardly see her anymore so Friday nights I sit home and wonder if this is what all single people do? I go to clubs with my sister and her husband and even though she's married, as soon as he leaves her side, guys hit on her and I'm standing (non-existant) right next to her. It's very depressing! I say we all get together and have a single girls night out!!
