Ok ladies help me out here. I've been alone for a really long time...............does it ever get any better?? These periodic crying spells just aren't working any more!! What am I doing wrong????? I think theres's something wrong with me!!! Any suggestions???

I think some of it depends on why and when your last relaionship ended. My divorce was over a year ago and I couldn't wait. Now, I'm enjoying getting to know myself again without the abusive element around.
It IS hard. That's why all those love songs are written. I belong to other dating sites and date occasionally. I am enjoying the fun,chats and making new friends here on DH.
We will be happy again and not  lives.  Believe it.

yes i love to cook did roasted chicken tonight with potatoes and onions in it's broth, and cream peas..ever want any recipes let me know ir ideas

There's nothing wrong with any of you ladies (and guys). The problem is this crazy world we live in. Once a person has been slammed to the ground a few times they learn to build a wall around themselves to keep from getting hurt anymore. Therefore, trusting someone new with their love is very hard to do.
To get back on topic, find things to do that you find interesting, it makes the time go by and the lonliness is forgotten at least for the time being.

There's nothing wrong with crying but damn the way you feel after you quit  your eyes are puffie and your smile is upside down.
I think it all depends on how you like yourself, always get up in the morning and say
these words, lord thanks for getting me through another day, and before you know it the
days get easier and the crying stops. Just love yourself and be happy that your still here to enjoy the rest of your life.
