One of my friends is passionate about catching scammers and getting them prosecuted to the full extent of the law. he has caught many scammers and take them to jail. But sometimes is hard to catch all of them thats why if you are trying to look for love on internet you must be careful with these people who just want to take advantage of it to get your money.

Yeah, my favorite are men in the military profiles supposedly from a "Midwestern state" who obviously don't speak English as a first language.

Oh how about those who forget which letter they sent you and repeat them. or forget they have already sent you their intro letter and you get the same letter several months later

I personally like to mess with their minds. Like say sure I'll send the money. One scammer on FB said he needed the money for a hospital bill. I said sure. He wanted me to send the money directly to him, I said "no". I'll send it directly to the hospital. Hospital couldn't accept money or some kind of BS like that. It was entertaining for awhile. Cause and effect the way I see it. Heck, what else is a person going to do?

Don't believe a damn thing from anyone until you've met them in person and know where they live.

I know most of you know how to notice when someone tries to scam you. But sometimes scammers find a way to trick vulnerable people making profiles with pictures of beautiful women or very attractive men. And most of the pictures belong to porn stars. Here is one of the mails they write saying they will visit the person they try to scam and they are in love with them.

Hello my love Harold!!!
I'm sorry that I have not written to you yesterday. I have trying to find
the money all day. And I have some result. Today I received your letter. I
am very happy that you are willing to help me. I will not spend the money. I
have to show it at customs and at our first meeting, I'll give you the full
amount. But today, when I received your letter, I went to Western Union to
get the money. But I refused to be translated. I could not get the money. To
me was told that this is incorrect information. I do not know why. Maybe
you're not correct told me its data. In the Western Union told me that I
could ask you for a copy of the check which you should have received when
they made transfer for me. I ask you to send me a copy of the check, so I
will make it easier to get money in the Western Union.
Yes, I have the correct visa to the UK. I just made a mistake last time.
I so miss on you. To me so it is sad because I not with you.
Dear, yesterday I communicated with the father. He has told that he can give
me 100 euro. I was delighted to this news. Now I should to get only 400
euro. My father has told that if you help me he can give you this money. I
was pleased with these news.
I very want this meeting and I know that you want this meeting as. It means
that we should to try carry out our desires together. And to be together. I
love you Harold. I know that you love me too. The distance should not stir
our love. And I know that it will not prevent. We will soon together and we
will be happy, we will be happy as never earlier.
I love you and I cannot live without you.
I already cannot present myself without your letters. I love you much.
Also I promise to you, that I will always love you. I promise To you, that I
will be the best girlfriend. The best girl. The best wife.
I LOVE YOU Harold!! I also could not think earlier, that I can find someone
in the Internet. About the beginning it seemed to me It is very silly. But
when you have started to write to me. And when I was glad To each your
letter. I have understood that, that it is destiny. That we should To meet
you. I know, that we will be the most good pair on all Globe. All over the
world. I can tell to you confidently and precisely. I kiss you!!
Your Olga.
