Reading on doesn't cancel out the need of repentance Preterest. Also,, not everyone is one of God's Children. Also,, you are wrong about the preaching(see my post in Looptex1 Hope thread) and universal salvation and preterism.
1 John 2
MY little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. (This presents the fact that the Lord saves us from sin, not in sin. This Passage tells us that, as Believers, we don’t have to sin. Victory over sin is found exclusively in the Cross.) And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous (Jesus is now seated at the Right Hand of the Father, signifying that His Mission is complete, and His very Presence guarantees intercession [Heb. 7:25–26; 9:24; 10:12]):
2 And He is the propitiation (satisfaction) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (This pertains to the fact that the satisfaction is as wide as the sin. If men do not experience its benefit, the fault is not in its efficacy, but in man himself.)

The one thief on the cross next to Jesus repented and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. The other thief didn't and was lost without God. The Saved Thief went to Paradise side of Hell along with Jesus. The other one went to the burning side.
34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do (presents the only prayer ever prayed by Jesus, which was not answered; if men will not seek forgiveness, even Christ praying for them will not avail!). And they parted His raiment (divided up His Garments), and cast lots (His Robe was without seam, so rather than cutting it up, they would draw straws).
35 And the people stood beholding (who made up this crowd is not known). And the Rulers also with them derided Him (means that they “mocked Him”), saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself, if He be Christ, the Chosen of God (if He had saved His Life, which He certainly could have done, He could not have Saved others; in fact, the Cross had been planned from before the foundation of the world [I Pet. 1:18–20]).
36 And the soldiers also mocked Him (was probably carried out by these heathen simply because they heard the religious leaders mocking Him), coming to Him, and offering Him vinegar (was in response to His plea for water [Jn. 19:28]), And saying, If You be the King of the Jews, save Yourself (what they did not know was that He was not only the “King of the Jews,” but the Creator of the heavens and Earth, the Maker of all things).
38 And a superscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew (constituted that written by Pilate; he probably did it to mock the religious leaders of Israel), THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
THE PENITENT THIEF
39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on Him, saying, If You be Christ, save Yourself and us (is reported by Matthew and Mark as both doing this in the beginning; however, at a point, one, which we will read about momentarily, changed completely).
40 But the other answering rebuked Him, saying (proclaims the spirit of true Repentance), Do not You fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation? (This means that he is owning up to his guilt, which is the first requirement of Repentance.)
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds (proclaims him making no excuses, admitting to his sin, holding no enmity toward his executers, which presents a powerful truth): but this Man has done nothing amiss (presents the only kind word uttered about Christ at this time, other than that spoken by the Centurion).
42 And He said unto Jesus (speaks of recognition as to Who Jesus really was), Lord, remember me when You come into Your Kingdom (presents the simple prayer of Repentance; it is one of the most remarkable conversions recorded in the Bible).
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto you, Today shall you be with Me in Paradise (a statement of fact, and not a question, as some claim; however, his stay in Paradise would be very short; some three days later, he would accompany Christ to Heaven, along with every other person in Paradise, which included all the Old Testament Saints).
HELL IS LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH
At His death on Calvary, Paul said that Jesus, "descended first into the lower parts of the earth" (Eph. 4:9). He did this to liberate those in Paradise.
Jesus Himself said, "So shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth,"which spoke of going down into hell, and not only liberating the Righteous who were in Paradise, but as well, to preach to the spirits in prison (Mat. 12:40).
Once again, these are not idle fairy tales, but an actual Truth as stipulated by the Bible.
Could not God make such a place, and see¬ ing that the soul and spirit are immortal (can¬not physically die), and that matter proves no obstruction, would not it be logical for this place to be in the heart of the earth?
THERE ARE FIVE DEPARTMENTS IN THE UNDERWORLD OF DEPARTED SPIRITS
1 Tartarus (I Pet. 3:19; II Pet. 2:4; Jude 6-7): this prison is a special one for fallen angels who sinned before the flood. No human beings or demons ever go to this underworld prison.
2. Paradise (Lk. 16:19-31; 23:43): this was the abode of the Righteous after physical death where they were held captive by the Devil against their will until Christ conquered death, hell, and the grave.
It is now empty of the Righteous who go to Heaven at death since Christ rescued the cap¬tives in paradise and took them to Heaven with Him when He ascended on high.
3. Hell (Mat. 16:18; Lk. 16:19-31): this is the torment compartment of Sheol-hades where wicked souls have always gone and will always go until the end of the Millennium.
Then the wicked will be brought out of hell to be reunited with their resurrected and im¬mortal bodies and be cast into the lake of fire forever (Rev. 20:11-15).
4. The abyss or bottomless pit (Lk. 8:26-31; Rom. 10:7; Rev. 9:1-3,11; 11:7; 17:8; 20:1-10): this is the abode of demons and some fallen angelic beings. No human soul and spirit ever go to the abyss.
5. The lake of fire: this is the eternal hell and perdition of all fallen angels, demons, and wicked men (Rev. 20:6,11-15; 21:8; 22:15).
It is the final hell prepared for the devil and his angels (Mat. 25:41) and is etenal in duration (Isa. 66:22-24; Mat. 25:46: Rev.14:9-14; 19:20; 20:10-15).

THE FIRE OF HELL IS LITERAL FIRE
The word "fire" is found in Scriptures 542 times and is used figuratively only a times. It is always clear when it is used figuratively as of "anger" (Ps. 89:46); "jealousyPs.79:5);"zeal"(Ps. 104:4; Jn. 2:17). All the other times it means a literal fire.
Some false cults claim that while hell is a real place, the soul will be immediately burned up. They derive this from a misinterpretation of Malachi 4:1. However, this passage in Malachi does not refer to hell at all, but to the battle of Armageddon when the fire will fall from heaven devouring the bodies of the wicked and killing them (Ezek. 38:17-21; Zech. 14:1-15: II Thes.1:7- 10; Rev. 19:11-21).
Just a casual reading of Malachi shows that it refers to the Second Advent of Christ and not to hell. Actually, not one word is said about hell in Malachi.
There is no Scripture that teaches anihilation of the soul and spirit in any capcity. All passages teach the soul is now immortal and the body will also be immortal in the resurrection, whether saved or unsaved.
THE PUNISHMENT OF HELL IS ETERNAL
The Scripture speaks of eternal damnation (Mk. 3:29), eternal judgment (Heb.6:2),everlasting fire (Mat. 18:8; 25:41), everlasting punishment (Mat. 25:46).
In the Book of Revelation it tells that the wicked will be "tormented day and night for ever and ever" (Rev. 20:10).
The same words translated eternal, everlasting, and forever and ever, used to state the eternity of God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, life etc., are also used of hell and punishment. There¬fore, if these persons and things are eternal, then hell and punishment are eternal.
Some erroneously teach that forever means “age-long”. This may be true when in a limited and qualified sense of temporary things as in Exodus 21:6, but when used literally of God's plan it always means eternal.jsm.org

THE BETTER WAY:
Everybody must be Saved because,, "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God"(Rom.3:23) and "The wages of sin is death!"(Rom.6:23)
However God Loves us,, every one of us and has Provided All that we need to receive Salvation because it is His desire that,, " Not any should perish but that all should come unto repentance"(II Pet.3:9)
For God so loved the world(presents the God kind of love), that He gave His only Begotten Son(gave Him up to the Cross, for that's what it took to redeem humanity), that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life.
Man as a sinner could not save himself. In other words, such was and is impossible; consequently, God literally became man, came into this world born of the Virgin Mary, and then died on Calvary to pay the price for mans' Redemption. The price was high, but Thank God, it was eternally paid by Jesus Christ, that "WHOSOEVER WILL, MAY COME AND TAKE THE WATER OF LIFE FREELY"(Rev.22:17).
"9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."(Rom.10:9-10)

The one thief on the cross next to Jesus repented and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. The other thief didn't and was lost without God. The Saved Thief went to Paradise side of Hell along with Jesus. The other one went to the burning side.
There is nothing in that passage about the other thief going to the burning side.
That is man's fabrication and is not in that scripture. no matter how you wish to spin it.
Also there is nothing in that verse about the so called repentant thief being saved.
what Jesus is saying, is that on the day when He comes into His kingdom, that specific thief will be remembered by Him because that thief will be with Him on the day He comes into His kingdom.
The other thief didn't ask any question to Jesus about remembering him because that other thief most likely didn't understand that Jesus was the Spiritual 'KING' and would be given a kingdom, so Jesus didn't offer him anything in regards to the man's doubt.
Now why would Jesus cast pearls before swine to be trampled, Obviously Jesus knew that the man did not receive the required revelation from the Father revealing to him who Jesus was. So anything in the spiritual nature that Jesus could have claimed to that other thief wouldn't have registered in his carnal mind anyways.
In any vent there is NOTHING about that other man being cursed to hellfire.. as you are claiming.
You are the one who needs to repent with your doctrinal claim that Jesus is NOT the Savior of the whole world, and most men must pay for their own sins in hellfire for eternity, and yet you are refusing to repent of spreading this false doctrine it, why ??? Is it that you cannot believe that Jesus is the Christ as the unrepentant thief also could not believe?

No Preterest,, it is you who is wrong and misrepresenting God's Word. What i posted is very much Scripture. It is your false doctrine that is deceiving you. You should repent from Preterism and Universal Salvation because they both are lies.
As i posted above,, The one thief acknowledged Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and he repented. He became saved and Born Again otherwise he wouldn't have been in Paradise with Jesus along with all of The Old Testament Saints who were waiting for our Lord's Cross-Blood Sacrifice and Resurrection.
No mention of the other thief repenting and/or accepting The Lord. That would mean the burning side of Hell.
1 John 1:9 (KJV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Jesus did some preaching down there.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity?b? captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? Eph 4:7-13
Matthew 25:46 (KJV)
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
We shall not enter into the discussions that have arisen over this controverted passage. These things are certain: (1) A separation between the righteous and the wicked takes place at judgment. (2) The righteous inherit the kingdom; the wicked "depart into everlasting fire." (3) The state of the righteous is "life eternal;" the state of the wicked is "everlasting punishment." (4) The duration of these two states is the same, exactly the same Greek word being used in each case (aionios). Then if the state of punishment has an end, so has the life.
John 5:28-29 (KJV)
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
19 There was a certain rich man,...
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus (many claim this is a Parable not to be taken literally; however, as it is to be noticed, Jesus uses names in this illustration, meaning that it’s not a Parable but actually, something that really happened; consequently, it is chilling indeed!) , which was laid at his gate, full of sores (the rich man saw Lazarus constantly, but offered no help whatsoever; as stated, such concluded ones like Lazarus to be cursed of God, and to help such would be thwarting the Plan of God; how so much the Word of God is twisted by so many),
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died (more than likely, no one cared, but the Lord cared, as we shall see) , and was carried by the Angels into Abraham’s bosom (Paradise; where all Believers went before the Cross; as well, Jesus also tells us here that whenever a Believer dies, his soul and spirit are escorted by Angels into the presence of God) : the rich man also died, and was buried (no Angels carried him away, for he died eternally lost; him being rich did not carry any weight as it regards his soul’s Salvation);
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes (Jesus here plainly proclaims the Doctrine of Eternal Hell; as well, He also proclaims the fact that the soul and the spirit immediately go to Heaven or Hell at the time of death, and that the soul and the spirit are totally conscious) , being in torments (to say the least, Hell is not a pleasant place and, as stated, it is eternal) , and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom (all Believers before the Cross expressed faith in the Revelation given to Abraham by God as it regards Redemption and, in a sense, it is the same presently [Rom. 4:16]).
24 And he cried and said, father Abraham, have mercy on me (there are no unbelievers in Hell, nor is there any Salvation there; the rich man repented, but too late) , and send Lazarus (he had no concern for Lazarus back on Earth, but his conscience now recalls many things, but too late) , that he may dip the tip of his finger in water (evidently there is no water there) , and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame (the Bible teaches that the fires of Hell are literal; Jesus said so!).
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things (in no way does it mean that this was the cause of him being lost; it merely means that he was treated very well, but showed no thankfulness for his blessings) , and likewise Lazarus evil things (the rich man didn’t allow his blessings to bring him to the Lord, and Lazarus didn’t allow his poverty to keep him from the Lord) : but now he is comforted (because he had accepted the Lord) , and you are tormented (the word “now” is that which is all-important; it speaks of the time after death; will it be one of “comfort” or “torment”?).
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed (this is in the heart of the Earth [Mat. 12:40]; before the Cross, even though all who went to Paradise were comforted, they were still captives of Satan, with him hoping that ultimately he would get them over into the burning pit [Eph. 4:8–9]; this means that when Believers died before the Cross, due to the fact that the blood of bulls and goats could not take away sins, the sin debt remained, and Satan still had a claim on them; so all those in Paradise were awaiting the Cross, which would deliver them) : so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot (proclaims the fact that all opportunities for Salvation are on this side of the grave; this means that the Catholic doctrine of Purgatory is a “fool’s hope”; there is no such place) ; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence (but yet it was possible for those in Hell to look over and see those in Paradise, and it seems to speak to them; that place, due to the Cross, is now empty, with all liberated by Christ after the price was paid [Eph. 4:8–9]).
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that you would send him (send Lazarus) to my father’s house (this is the only example of praying to a dead Saint in Scripture; let those who do so remember that prayer to all other dead Saints will avail just as much as this prayer did—nothing): Lk16 KJV
The above isn't a parable. Jesus used actual names and events.

It doesn't mean the burning side of hell cause there is no burning side of hell mentioned anywhere in that passage at any time.
1 John 1:9 (KJV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If you were to keep reading you would see that this forgiveness of sin is not just for those who have faith but is also for those who do not have faith.
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
Eph 4:7-13
No Jesus did some preaching down here on this earth. His descending to the lower parts of the earth is describing His 'Passion' and how He tabernacle d in sinful flesh and embraced humility, even though He was in the form of God, He made Himself to be nothing and He made His death with the wicked. Christ's Passion itself, was Him descending into the lowest parts of the earth, As it didn't get much lower in shame and disgrace to a human being than to be publicly crucified on a cross as Christ was.
Matthew 25:46 (KJV)
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
This is the prophecy regarding the sheep and goat judgment, it is the same judgment that is spoken of in Ezekiel and it takes place when God Himself becomes the shepherd over Israel and the priesthood of Israel is judged. see Ezekiel 34:17
“‘As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats.
This judgement isn't for all men, it is a judgment against those who were tending the flock of God's people. I challenge you to actually look at the context of Ezekiel 34 and see that this is clearly a judgment that was carried out against the shepherds of Israel when Jesus became the Messiah and KING OF KINGS.
When Jesus said He was the Good Shepherd He was making a reference to Him being the prophesied Messiah and promised Shepherd, who Ezekiel and the other prophets spoke of coming.
Those are the biblical facts on this matter. You are in error awaiting a judgment that has already taken place 2000 years ago
