It's hard(er) because of your age.
Most women your age were raised that sex for the sake of sex is "bad."
They are coming out of marriages and relationships that were supposed to last forever and sex was a romantic ideal.
If not, then the women your age are looking to be cougars to young little cubs.
You might be more succesful if you looked for someone in their late 60's, 70's, or 80's.
Women younger than you are looking for older men in order to settle down.
Seeing you as more stable, secure, and mature.
If they wanted regular sex, they'd go with someone far more active, healthy, and virile, like a 20 year old.
Other than that, FWB are generally difficult to find for most men.
Same reason for pretty much everything else.
The demand for such outweighs the supply.
Sorry but I'm 51 and I'm a generation that had a blast in the 70's and 80's with SEX, DRUGS, and ROCK'N ROLL! We definitely were not a bunch of "June Cleavers".

Keep it real and clean dude. If you want NSA sex then do the right thing and call a hooker and pay for it. FWB is always emotionally messy, even if the partners are too thick and jar headed to know that their emotions are engaged. But hey, go ahead and drag your energy and integrity thru the gutter, apparently that's the only way some people learn.
