A little. I did another dating site a couple of years ago and it was working out at first but when it kind of went sour I had a hard time getting rid of the guy. He was great but just wasn't my cup of tea.

I was at first for safety reasons. I took precautions and it worked out fine. After I meet a couple of guys, then I was more comfortable.

A little teeny weeny bit scared...........But not scared enough to stop me.My sons insist on knowing where I am meeting someone and also they insist that others know where I am too if meeting a stranger for first time.... Keep it neutral ground and daylight and have backup...Good luck.

Honestly yes! I am such a newby at this type of thing it is scary. I am doing it because it seems this is one of the ways to meet people now. I understand the whole meet in a public place and such, but it is still weird. I guess you also have to look at it that a person can lie when you meet them in person. You must trust your instinct.

We all have to work but not give up our life for a job!! When you die, you dont remember the job, you remember the memories you had! I work 3 jobs but find time to date, if shes worth it, so tell me, what type of job do you have that you dont have time to met anyone worth your time? (Flight attendant?)

yea i think when you first go back to dating after a long term relationship, there is a fear factor...
will they like you
will you say something stupid
will they see the faults you see in your self physically
you know that stuff, actually the same things you most likely thought of when you were a teenager...
but unlike a teenager, you get over it real fast when you are an adult,
i think the only difference is that we have lived some kind of life and have been hurt or disappointed in the opposite sex,
and its hard to make you self have a clean slate when meeting a male or female for the first time.
some times our past experiences make us a bit cynical in our judgments,
and that can ruin an obviously good experience.
