These leftist that want to do nothing but have a gun grab and say we have no rights to own guns as protection... I'm saying if you'll respect my right to own and bear arms to protect myself, my home, my family... Then I'll support your right to be unarmed, un protected and become a victim!

Seemed pretty clear to me!!

Misrepresenting the anti gun argument shows you offer nothing logical. Your response to your misrepresented leftist argument shows it's not an accident the first lacks logic.

I'm against any type of gun regulations including the ones already on the books. Any type of requirement including but not limited to age and identity are violations of my rights. Whether I exercise the right regularly or not.

Dude if you don't think the left would love to have every gun taken out if public hands then your either ignorant or part of it!!!

As with the Overton Window, they will start off slow saying you can't own this caliber, this particular round, this magazine capacity, oh well now you can't have one that's not single bolt action, well now it can't have optics because we know optics are for distance, pretty soon they will have you down to a single action slingshot!!!

I'm 42 years old and I've never been in a situation that could have been changed had I been in position of my pistol. The only crime I've ever had committed against me was burglary theft while I was out of town.

Is it my personal choices or geographical location that has kept me from feelings intimidated or fearful of my own safety that I'm not worried about being a victim ?

You are using the most extreme examples which are based on the lowest number of people trying to suggest all people seeking restrictions fit into your little anti story. This pretty much shows you lack the competence to defend anyone's rights including your own.

Crime can happen in any geographical location!!! My dad was accosted by two bikers at knife point in the middle of nowhere on a dirt county road and was going to be murdered. But my dads military training kicked in and he is alive today because of it. Yes he did it without a weapon but so many cannot defend themselves in that way.

Surprise. A person story that includes a gun being a factor. Strange I've yet to meet anyone like that in all of my travels. Never a shortage of stories just a shortage of people they actually happen to.

I know Vet's that want nothing to do with firearms and some have problems with simple things like police officers to close to them. Not every opinion or issue is base on the anti crap you've been spoon fed and try to feed to others.

It's well documented that many times people being armed has diffused the situation or has kept it from becoming a lot worse.

My dads story is very well documented. It was on national news as well. But his isn't the only story. Just because you know of no one doesn't mean it doesn't happen often!!

Use the most extreme and rare cases for their argument and your own. Shit happens and has happened since the beginning of time. The only thing that changes through the years are the details.

Sept 2003. My x's lawyer was show boating and entered a motion to have my firearms impounded for the duration of divorce proceedings. I had an FFL at that time.

Fortunately my lawyer knew her lawyers game plan. I had all of my firearms stored in his vault, 2 weeks before he tried to have mine confiscated by the court. We had signed reciets, for when my lawyer took possession of my firearms.

From what I've seen, when law enforcement takes away firearms you never see them again

You don't get it.

You are the rights far right version of the leftists far left extremists. So much so you are cheering a state passing a law to allow you to exercise rights you already have in a gun control thread.

This is what I don't understand with the left that wants to eliminate guns .

The left wants to eliminate all guns from law abiding citizens but says nothing about what are they going to do to solve the problems with criminals with the guns?

I can walk through a town with someone openly carrying a gun and not worry about them , its the criminal element I fear, the car jackers, the bank robbers and those who are violent and non law abiding is the one that gives me nightmares.

The last time I was in new york city, I heard shots not too far from me and everyone was ducking for cover, new york has one of the toughest gun laws yet gun violence still exists.

So again I ask the left, what are you going to do about the criminal element with the guns?

Ok - so say when they pass legislation saying (assuming) it has a clip that your pistol has to be a revolver and nothing over a .22, will you then keep saying they are not trying to take it away or are you going to sit back until they come back and say you can't own anything more than a flint lock. They won't make the grab all at once! They will gradually shut the window on your ability to own! I own everything from .22, ,380, 44 SuperMag, 22-250, 223, 243, 25-06, 30-30, 30-06, 308, 12 and 20 gauge shotguns. I have two AR15 I use merely for Predator/Varmint hunting. You don't think they are trying to legislate that out??

Try buying Ammo!!

I like the anti gun soccer moms. One said the Ruger 10/22 was called that because it killed 2 people for every shout fired or better yet the one that said the AK47 fired 47 bullets every time the trigger was pulled!lol she went on to say AK stood for automatic killer and was a much more dangerous gun than the AR15!

As with any restriction, it's well known that there will be those who resist an all out loss of their right - doesn't matter what that right is. The answer is to nudge or take away that right in smaller steps until they get you right where they really wanted you in the first place.

Gun ownership isn't the only right that is slowly being taken away. Look at what the PC police is up to. They are working to control what you can and can not say. They are trying to control what sports teams are named and trying to force one team to change their name because "they don't like it". Where do you think that is going to end?

I could go on but I think I have made my point. Pay attention to what is happening all around you and pay special attention to where it will all end up. Is that the kind of America you want to live in?

I like the anti gun soccer moms. One said the Ruger 10/22 was called that because it killed 2 people for every shout fired or better yet the one that said the AK47 fired 47 bullets every time the trigger was pulled!lol she went on to say AK stood for automatic killer and was a much more dangerous gun than the AR15!

Just like birth control, a comprehensive education should be mandatory

You remember when D*ck Cheney accidentally shot the lawyer? ABC's Dianne Sawyer described Cheney's 28 gauge double barreled shotgun firing 3/4 ounce loads of #8 birdshot; as this deadly assault weapon capable of spewing hundreds of lead slugs a second.

Oooh...scary, scary, scary.

I don't recall off the top of my head, twist. Besides, I just ate a half a dozen scrambled eggs, so I'm digesting right now.

I'm not at my best while digesting. lol

I'm also flirting w/ this local belle; who just now asked me what we might be doing after having snuggled while watching a late night movie.

I hate multi-tasking while I'm digesting.

Can you imagine a 7.62 39mm shell being spewed out in 47 round bursts??? How many pulls would you get on that thing before it was smokin???

She did get the Automatic right, Kalashnikov and the year it was first introduced however doesn't sound so scary!! Lmao

You ever see any you tube videos of someone using an AA-12 automatic shotgun? Which uses a 20 drum magazine?

Firing off 3 round bursts using 12 gauge loads of #1 buckshot would be 48 pellets per second.

Close enough.

The AA-12 Shotgun is the same one Terry Crew, (Hail Ceasar,) uses in the Expendables.

They haven't!! Yet!! But your gullible if you think it's not a future plan!!!

Well I will back off a little bit. Not here in Texas it won't happen! Hell we are going to be open carry hopefully soon!

They haven't tried to take your guns and you will be able to open carry soon, but you're paranoid they're going to take your guns?
