All of the far rights arguments are based on what the government could do with the impression given that they are already trying. That's why I referenced Alex Jones earlier..lol

I just bought a 44 magnum Henry Rifle, Golden Boy it holds 10 shells. Haven't shot it yet. I wonder how bad it kicks?
It's not bad. The .44 magnum is very manageable in a rifle. My lever action .44 mag is pretty tame. The high price of the bullets is why I hardly ever shoot mine. It's been in storage for years.
I hear you can fire .44 mag out of a .410. Thinking about buying that cheap single shot Rossi break barrel to try it out. My only concern is the chamber pressure. Might have to tie it to a tree and run some cord to the trigger. Lol!

We all know Clinton's mislabeled assault weapons ban, was to test the waters for banning weapons. The united methodists counsel went into orgasmic bliss . Funny damn thing is, it didn't ban assault weapons! ignorant public.

That's my point papado. It was done with a firearm that is used in less than 2% of gun crimes. It made me money and it made me think.
Take a long hard look at California's gun laws. That's the ground work. Gun confistisication will be implemented at the state level, to lay the groundwork for nation wide.
Do I think this will happen in my lifetime? No.

Sorry. I didn't mean your Clinton example I was referring to the last example you made about the populous willing to sell their children.
Everything can be viewed as the ground work for more positive or more negative legislation while some claim are valid most fail the logic test. Calif's problems started back in the 60's and no other state has that type of foundation in restrictive laws so while I see your point I think it's a bad example.
I remember when the microchip was ground breaking for the medical industry for the patient and it only took a few days before it became the ground work for micro chipping by the government to control us. Seems like everything as a boogie woogie addition to it these days.

The idea of gun control lacks any common sense.
Anyone who thinks criminals will comply with any gun control laws lacks common sense. Firearms in the hands of law obedient citizens do not pose much threats anyway. At least not for anyone who's not trying to harm other people.
So... the brilliant idea is: pass the gun control laws and expect thugs to follow it; take any means of protection away from the citizens, leaving them with only one option of relying on government to protect them, the option that usually fails...
Amazing... as usually.

So what do you think about mandatory gun spec laws ? You know the law that gives a criminal a mandatory sentence for the gun on top of any sentence they get for committing the crime itself..
Or how about criminals being denied their right to own a fire arm even after they have served their full sentence ?

What type of life style were you living during the time period you had to use your gun to defend yourself multiple times?
You had to of been a cop or a gang banger. I can't think of any other type of life style that would require using a gun to defend yourself multiple times.

Pop,
Serving your full sentence is not a guarantee of trustworthiness.
The punishment for a crime is supposed to be long term. Even after there are no bars on the windows. To remind one to stay away from the mistakes/crimes done before. Once a person breaks the law intentionally there will be consequences, it's a natural law. Or is yours "do the crime, serve the time, and get clean out of the shit" mentality?

This is the kind of post that shows you have renounced all logic and reason.
I was displaying the hypocrisy. Renounced all logic and reason? Well, perhaps you're too dense or short-sighted to face the truth: Bloomberg was quoted in a NY Times article as saying “You can have a ban on assault weapons. But assault weapons kill 400 people a year. They get a lot of press. But its 400 vs. 31,000 with handguns. I think having a gun at home when you have children is really dumb.” These statements hint at Bloomberg’s real intent: further confiscation of firearms. So I suppose if Bloomberg had kids and he was an average citizen and didn't have bodyguards and was the victim of a home invasion, he would want his family to be vulnerable to attack? NOW who's illogical?

No it displays your contempt for logic and reason. Stupid is stupid and there is no defense for that level of stupidity.
It's idiots like you and these other morons that will be the force behind more restrictions on my already over restricted shall not be infringed upon rights!

Quote from cntxman:
LB - I had a H&R .410/.22 combo I really liked. Pretty nifty little gun!
========================
I'm thinking this will be pretty nifty too.
ROSSI MATCHED PAIR SINGLE-SHOT PISTOL
This handy single-shot pistol arrives with a .22 Long Rifle and .45 Colt/.410 combo barrel.
11 inch barrels.
http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/rossi-matched-pair-single-shot-pistol-review/
Excerpt:
The .410 shot shell patterns produced by the Matched Pair were excellent in comparison to other .45 Colt/.410 handguns on the market. Quite simply, it trounced the competition. The closed chamber, longer barrel and removable straight-rifled choke produced patterns at 7 yards that rival those produced by 20-inch barreled .410 shotguns.
A variety of 2 1/2- and 3-inch birdshot loads produced patterns ranging from 6 to 9 inches. The 00, 000 and No. 4 Buckshot loads tested yielded groups ranging from 2.5 to 5 inches, with the best performance produced by the Federal Premium Handgun 9-Pellet, 3-inch shell.
It should be noted that the level of felt recoil produced by heavy 3-inch .410 buckshot loads is stout, even with the recoil reducing grips. One shell that is bound to leave a memorable impression on both the shooter and the target is the Winchester PDX1 3-inch Defender load. This shell launches 410-grains of copper-plated lead in the form of four defense disks (pre-flattened buckshot pellets) and 16 BB-size shot pellets at a published handgun velocity of 750 fps.
At 7 yards, the defense disks produced a 2.5-inch central group with the BB pellets forming a 6.25-inch pattern around them. I would be handed my walking papers and told to clean out my desk if I ever recommended a single-shot handgun for self-defense. However, it's still good to know that if the Matched Pair were pressed into an emergency defensive roll, it will produce tight, effective buckshot groups with the proper loads.

I asked you two very simple and direct question's so I can't for the life of me figure out that the f**k you are talking about in that barely coherent post.
Simple yes or no.
Ok, to simplify it for you:
If you beat someone up on the street, yes your access to firearms should be restricted.
For anyone having a violence crime on their record possession of any firearms should be limited due to violent history. For someone who have no such history it shouldn't be limited.
Hope that was clear.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. You just don't catch on, do you? The cities with the most gun control have the most gun crimes. And no, I won't be the force behind more restrictions in the future. It will be control freaks like Bloomberg and his cronies. You don't know Bloomberg like I do. You don't live in NYC.

Yes or no would be simplifying it for me. 2 direct and simple questions and you refuse to answer either of them directly.

If you lack the basic common sense to understand how stupid that meme is then how are you going to convince anyone you are intelligent enough to be responsible for a firearm ?
Lefty's use posts like yours to show the lack of common sense and rightfully so, it lacks any kind of sense at all. You are doing their job for them.
