I used to take my daughter and mom to Tanger Outlet Mall in Myrtle Beach!
Great deals on Black Friday. We would spend the night Thursday night and get up tone there at 4:30.
Now I don't do all that. Just buy online stuff to have shipped to people's houses. Do a little shopping.

A couple of malls in my general area are right off the interstate highways, after driving by them for years and seeing traffic stopped on the highway waiting to get off to go to the mall? It cured me of any interest of going to any store after Thanksgiving until the new year.
My son and his buddy just left to do our grocery shopping, I told him to try and get enough to last until 1-2-15.

Retailers are no longer depending on Black Friday to fill their tills, they've been having sales for weeks now on everything.

I don't venture out into the stores on Black Friday. I'm not interested in dealing with heathens, whether so-called adults or their children. Ppl seriously turn into 4-legged animals when they think they'll be getting a bargain on some cheap items that are honestly sold to them damaged so they break/barely function when they get them back home. I deal with idiots on a daily basis, so I'm not spending my day off interfacing with any in the retail atmosphere.
