I like conversation, so someone who is talkative would seem to be the better choice for me.
Of course there are extremes and it's not much fun when you can't fit a word in edgewise.
It often seems to be the case with couple's that one is much more talkative than the other, there is a reason for that.

I'm more of a, If when there is silence you or the person you are with feels uncomfortable about it, then it's not a good match.
I don't like people babbling just for the sake of babbling...I don't care about the dog you had when you were 14 etc.

I am a geezer! I have really had more than my fair share of fun, excitement, and hassles in my life, my dog and I are both peace out sort of guys and are content just wandering around our yard chasing bunnies, 4 legged ones!
A perfect team, I spot the bunnies, he chases them! No hassles! Neither of us minds going back inside empty handed, in his case an empty mouth.

I don't mind if he's quiet. when they have something to say they say it.
I had an ex that was quiet but when he did say something it was worth hearing. he just didn't ramble.
