It was a warm fall day, the leaves were in every earth color in the spectrum. I was on my chopper, and coming up through the Florida Panhandle, as leaves scuttled across the highway from an oak tree. The motor was enjoying the steady gait, and I was almost to my destination to pick up a new friend, and take her for her first ride from me, and our first meeting as well, but I wasn't nervous, I just felt good. The sun was bright still but waning to evening as ragged clouds, blue-bottomed with bright yellow to white, floated by quickly with the ten knot wind.....I pulled into the parking lot and sat down on the velour seat sideways..... covered in black leather, and she came out from behind me, and tugged the back of my jacket....I turned around.....a big beautiful smile met mine, as eyes reflected ages to one another, knowingly, and curiously vast, yet differing, but the same.....Not a word was said, and the smiles told volumes, as I hugged her roughly, and smelled her hair......I know this woman, and know her not, but somehow knowing....
I motioned her to tie her hair back and helped her with the half-helmet, and she was ready. I merely said very softly, "get on", and she did like she'd done this everyday, feet on the tribal pegs, and her arm about my waist, and I started the engine with a deep Spinosaurus growl, and headed out carefully down the highway to which I came, and we passed little towns, and her head was on my shoulder, crooked near my neck....sexy were the sunglasses she wore, hiding those ferocious smoky blue-hazel eyes that smolder through my soul, and a smile graced her lips, as I opened the throttle a little more, as she giddied and hugged me a little tighter, and the wind unevenly caressing our faces.....we rode on...... yes, she liked to ride, the fat back tire as her easy-chair, her ear and head resting sideways for a moment on the back of my jacket, noticing the smell of the leather, and the hot metal of the engine with a smell all it's own, sweet almost, with a hint of oil potpourri in the nostrils.....not a word said, just the ride...till eventually she'll shake my jacket when she see's a good restaurant, and point with her beautiful hand, a hand that has seen work, and enjoys it, my favorite...... the restaurant? fresh organic, excellent food, cared for like they would eat it......stuff dreams are made of....then we'll hold hands at the table.....not much talk, just a knowing, and eating, touching fingers, we're really here...... the night hasn't even begun..... where will we go next? the beach? too cold, the room? not yet.... the movies.... yes, the movies.....

thanks for the reading suggestions but i don't enjoy reading. I do watch a lot of interesting movies and some documentaries though.
