My go-to is spaghetti with amazing sauce, French bread, and lava cake for dessert. It's always a hit. I've only made the cake once, so I'm looking forward to making it for someone in particular.

The perfect dish holds my food without spilling or leaving trace elements in my food. Plastic doesn't fit this bill, but porcelain seems to do ok. Metal plates, however, seem to leave a taste.

I live in an apartment, so ppl come up with the silliest excuses to knock on my door. I don't mind, but I know what's going on.

everyone's perfect dish so far seems so...
common.
If I wanted to have a perfect meal, I'd look into some rare and exotic tasty dishes like some king crab dipped in an exotic white truffle sauce, or a kobe beef steak with a slice of densuke watermelon for dessert.

Sounds good. There is a place in Canberra I go to dine once every so often it is called SoulFoodKitchen owned by a man from New Orleans.. it is such a fun place. The owner me and we often have a dance or two to the live band and he even hands out beads on special functions.

Spaghetti may sound boring but if you do it like I do it's anything but.
Heat your olive oil with seasonings until aromatic (very important!)
Add lean beef stew meat cut in small pieces, until browned.
Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes (I use garlic and basil tomatoes from the can).
let cook about 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Your welcome
