Money doesn't buy you social skills and a personality but you need social skills and personality to get money most times so the two go hand in hand

what do you base this on? I know people who make buku bucks, like 300-800+K a year who've told me they do no better in dating vs when they were poor


I'm not quite at that point yet but I'm doing pretty well for my age and I couldn't get a date if you put a shotgun to my head

Well, I make no where near you unfortunately, otherwise it would be much easier, you just have to use it to your advantage. Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up along beside it. Everything comes down to you, and how you present yourself. Do you make it known you are free?

Money means nothing

I post on a few different dating forums and I see it posted constantly over and over by different men who all claim that money = dating success or that most women are gold diggers and what not. It just makes me want to bash my head against the wall, I can't make this urban myth die


I've talked before about my own success level. I'm in the top 0.5% to maybe 0.1% percentile of people my age for all around success/income and there are obviously zero women interested in me but that's not even all that strong of proof. My best friend - a man in his late 30s who has maybe a 10 million networth - is much better proof actually. He's got a 10,000 square foot mansion on the water surrounded by a beautiful lake with a pool in his backyard. It's the kind of shit you see on MTV cribs, just absolutely silly. He's never been like swarmed by women at all either. He's been with a few women in his lifetime, primarily because he's very charming and good looking/muscular as hell, he still looks like a professional football player. He dated women when he was broke and the money really hasn't changed his luck with women at all


Me and him go out and there are no women really interested in us at all. Even when they find out about the wealth through an indirect source, there is no extra interest. Neither one of us believe in that living modest bullshit either. We both dress sharp, have fancy cars, are very generous and everything.


I really am not making this out to be a brag thread at all. I just wish I could kill this damn theory that so many men believe is the god's truth. IT'S NOT TRUE. MONEY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. I have friends who live paycheck to paycheck, drive 1999 civics, live at home with their parents, are average looking and have fairly average personality with girlfriends who look like pornstars.

I want to be happy with the one I'm with.
