(Walmart attacking the working class, cutting wages and hours)
A) This should hardly surprise anyone. Walmart is right at the heart of the problem, both at home (squeezing out countless small businesses who can't compete with their gargantuan scale) and abroad (exploiting workers to manufacture cheap trinkets for sale in the West).
B) Walmart is a discount retail outlet whose customer is the working class, particularly the working poor. Wealthy capitalists do not shop there. If they are having to cut jobs in the US, what that tells you is that the right-wing strategy of impoverishing the working class is coming home to roost. When you slash worker incomes, sure, you get more workers desperate to work for less... But Walmart's customers can't shop there if they don't have any disposable income.

Thank you Viet Nam veterans and all veterans

Quang Nguyen is the producer for the PatriotNetworkAZ. Watch Quang's tribute to the veterans who brought him to this greatest country on earth, America.
VIETNAMESE IMMIGRANT
On Saturday, July 24th, 2010 the town of Prescott Valley , AZ, hosted a Freedom Rally. Quang Nguyen was asked to speak on his experience of coming to America and what it means. He spoke the following in dedication to all Vietnam Veterans.
Thought you might enjoy hearing what he had to say:
“35 years ago, if you were to tell me that I am going to stand up here speaking to a couple thousand patriots, in English, I'd laugh at you. Man, every morning I wake up thanking God for putting me and my family in the greatest country on earth.
I just want you all to know that the American dream does exist and I am living the American dream. I was asked to speak to you about my experience as a first generation Vietnamese-American, but I'd rather speak to you as an American.
If you hadn't noticed, I am not white and I feel pretty comfortable with my people.
I am a proud U.S. Citizen and here is my proof. It took me 8 years to get it, waiting in endless lines, but I got it, and I am very proud of it.
I still remember the images of the Tet offensive in 1968, I was six years old. Now you might want to question how a 6-year-old boy could remember anything. Trust me, those images can never be erased.
I can't even imagine what it was like for young American soldiers, 10,000 miles away from home, fighting on my behalf.
35 years ago, I left South Vietnam for political asylum. The war had ended. At the age of 13, I left with the understanding that I may or may not ever get to see my siblings or parents again. I was one of the first lucky 100,000 Vietnamese allowed to come to the U.S. Somehow, my family and I were reunited 5 months later, amazingly, in California . It was a miracle from God.
If you haven't heard lately that this is the greatest country on earth, I am telling you that right now. It was the freedom and the opportunities presented to me that put me here with all of you tonight. I also remember the barriers that I had to overcome every step of the way.
My high school counselor told me that I cannot make it to college due to my poor communic ation skills. I proved him wrong. I finished college. You see, all you have to do is to give this little boy an opportunity and encourage him to take and run with it. Well, I took the opportunity and here I am.
This person standing tonight in front of you could not exist under a socialist/communist environment. By the way, if you think socialism is the way to go, I am sure many people here will chip in to get you a one-way ticket out of here. And if you didn't know, the only difference between socialism and communism is an AK-47 aimed at your head. That was my experience.
In 1982, I stood with a thousand new immigrants, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and listening to the National Anthem for the first time as an American. To this day, I can't remember anything sweeter and more patriotic than that moment in my life.
Fast forwarding, somehow I finished high school, finished college, and like any other goofball 21 year old kid, I was having a great time with my life. I had a nice job and a nice apartment in Southern California . In some way and somehow, I had forgotten how I got here and why I was here.
One day I was at a gas station, I saw a veteran pumping gas on the other side of the island. I don't know what made me do it, but I walked over and asked if he had served in Vietnam . He smiled and said yes.
I shook and held his hand. The grown man began to well up. I walked away as fast as I could and at that very moment, I was emotionally rocked. This was a profound moment in my life. I knew something had to change in my life. It was time for me to learn how to be a good citizen. It was time for me to give back.
You see, America is not just a place on the map, it isn't just a physical location. It is an ideal, a concept. And if you are an American, you must understand the concept, you must accept this concept, and most importantly, you have to fight and defend this concept. This is about Freedom and not free stuff. And that is why I am standing up here.
Brothers and sisters, to be a real American, the very least you must do is to learn English and understand it well. In my humble opinion, you cannot be a faithful patriotic citizen if you can't speak the language of the country you live in.
Take this document of 46 pages - last I looked on the Internet, there wasn't a Vietnamese translation of the U.S. Constitution. It took me a long time to get to the point of being able to converse and until this day, I still struggle to come up with the right words. It's not easy, but if it's too easy, it's not worth doing.
Before I knew this 46-page document, I learned of the 500,000 Americans who fought for this little boy. I learned of the 58,000 names scribed on the black wall at the Vietnam Memorial. You are my heroes. You are my founders.
At this time, I would like to ask all the Vietnam veterans to please stand. I thank you for my life. I thank you for your sacrifices, and I thank you for giving me the freedom and liberty I have today. I now ask all veterans, firefighters, and police officers, to please stand. On behalf of all first generation immigrants, I thank you for your services and may God bless you all.

Are Rumors About Lindsey Graham’s Sexuality Hurting His Presidential Chances?
By Mark Joseph Stern
Lindsey Graham is a formidable figure in Congress: A third-term Republican senator who also served eight years in the House, Graham is a national security hawk and a foreign policy expert beloved in his home state of South Carolina, despite his occasionally moderate leanings.
Mark Joseph Stern Mark Joseph Stern
Mark Joseph Stern is a writer for Slate. He covers the law and LGBTQ issues.
Yet ever since Graham formally announced his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, his candidacy has been treated as something of a joke. Thus far, Graham’s bachelor status has attracted the most attention. His promise to have “a rotating first lady” drew giggles and jokes—including a quip by Sen. Mark Kirk that Graham was a “bro with no ho.” Graham then gave a somewhat melancholy interview insisting that being single did not make him a “defective person.”
Lurking behind the media’s fascination with Graham’s singlehood is an assumption about his sexuality. Gay rumors have long plagued the senator, and other South Carolina politicians have even implied that Graham is closeted. (Graham has declared that he “ain’t gay.”) These whispers become shouts on the late-night circuit, where comedians like Jon Stewart and John Oliver earn laughs by ridiculing Graham’s ostensibly effeminate mannerisms. Recently, Larry Wilmore felt compelled to push back against one of his guests, who laughingly stated she thinks Graham is gay. “Here’s the thing,” Wilmore said:
Sometimes people … mak[e] that insinuation, like there’s something wrong with you if you are single at a certain age. They always put you down as damaged or gay, like those are related.
Wilmore is on to something here. The mainstream media’s coverage of Graham’s bachelor status may not blatantly hint that the senator is gay—but it doesn’t need to. Even in 2015, many Americans still assume that anybody who isn’t partnered at a certain age must be homosexual. The fact that Graham talks in a somewhat stereotypically gay voice only makes the assumption more irresistible.
But when Stewart performs his effeminate Graham impression, he isn’t just suggesting the senator is gay—he’s mocking him for it. That’s a problem. Were Graham openly gay, no progressive comedian would dare ridicule him for his manner of speech. Graham is only fair game because he’s perceived to be closeted. The implication that he’s gay and lying about it is what makes the joke amusing. (That is, if you think it’s funny at all.
It’s difficult to draw a direct line between these jeering late-night jibes, the mainstream media’s winking coverage of Graham, and the senator’s striking unpopularity among GOP voters. (He is currently polling around 1 percent, lagging behind train wrecks like Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum.) But it’s hard to believe the media’s refusal to take Graham seriously isn’t having some effect on his terrible numbers. Rather than pressing Graham to explain his apparent support for drone strikes without due process, anchors are forcing him to justify his lack of a wife. Nobody looks presidential when they’re anxiously explaining why they’re single in their 50s.
If Graham were more traditionally masculine, I seriously doubt he’d be dogged by so many questions about his bachelorhood. The fun of poking Graham about his personal life lies in the ambiguous presentation of his sexuality. Most Republican voters may not currently think Graham is gay. But they’ll be all but required to consider that question if Graham’s media coverage continues to dwell on his romantic and sexual choices. Graham may well be an awful presidential candidate for the Republican Party. But an analysis of his qualifications shouldn’t rest on the giggling assumption that he’s stuck in the closet.

Double oops: Sally Kohn accidentally advocates for D.C. gun permits with a picture of a BB gun

For progressives aghast at that Kentucky clerk: D.C. officials are openly defying federal court orders regarding concealed carry permits.
Sally Kohn isn’t happy that Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis is refusing to issue marriage certificates to gay couples on the grounds that it goes against her Christian faith and tweeted out this meme to troll conservatives who support Davis’ civil disobedience:
And conservatives say, “sounds great!” It’s about time we started applying these standards equally:

South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham became the first Republican presidential candidate to call on the United States to admit more Syrian refugees
on Tuesday.
In a speech expressing his opposition to the proposed Iran deal, Graham urged the United States to take “its fair share of Syrian refugees”.
The South Carolina Republican said “we should take the Statue of Liberty and tear it down” if the United States continues its current, limited policies on admitting refugees from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Graham also called on European nations to “up their game” in addressing the refugee crisis. In a pointed reference to the second world war, he said to Europeans: “It wasn’t that long ago you needed someone’s help.”
Graham joins Democrat Martin O’Malley
as only the second of 22 presidential candidates to call for the United States to admit more refugees from Syria.
Marco Rubio, another Republican presidential contender, told reporters on Tuesday he is “open” to allowing more refugees into the United States – reiterating an answer he first provided in a radio interview on Monday.
“I don’t know what the right number is, but we want to be careful terrorists don’t take advantage ... to infiltrate themselves among the very innocent people that would also be coming,” Rubio, a senator from Florida, said after a campaign event in Keene, New Hampshire.
He added that Europe would nonetheless face the brunt of the refugee crisis and said the US should lend support to its allies.
“We should be able to offer them them assistance, in creating some places and camps where people can live and be safe while
this thing works itself out,” Rubio said.
The US has accepted only 1,500 Syrian refugees so far, and the White House said last week it did not anticipate any changes to its current policy.
Graham said that it is important for the Republican party’s political future to attract Hispanic voters. Hispanic voters would be attracted to “the party of limited government, stronger military, faith-based values, but I’d have a hard time getting there if I believe you were going to deport my mother”, he said.

GOP’s Epic Failure To Stop Iran Deal Started With Netanyahu Stunt In March
By: Keith Brekhus
The long Republican battle to block the Iran deal is coming to a end, with Mitch McConnell begging Senate Democrats not to filibuster a vote to stop the deal, even as it has become obvious that the president has the votes he needs for the plan to survive, possibly even without requiring his veto. In their hopes to embarrass the president, Congressional Republicans have failed miserably, and now it is they, and not the White House that must endure the humiliation of a stinging defeat.
While the final fatal blow to the Republican resistance is being dealt in September, opposition to the Iran deal was doomed long ago. When Congressional Republicans invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to deliver a clearly partisan speech before Congress in March, the GOP sealed their inevitable fate on the Iran Deal.
By poisoning the debate with the fiercely strident and distinctly partisan tones of Netanyahu, the Republicans pushed uncertain Democrats off the fence and into Barack Obama’s camp on the Iran deal.
An American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) lobbyist admitted as much, telling an Israeli news source:
Netanyahu’s speech in Congress made the Iranian issue a partisan one. As soon as he insisted on going ahead with this move, which was perceived as a Republican maneuver against the president, we lost a significant part of the Democratic party, without which it was impossible to block the agreement.
President Obama’s success in outmaneuvering the Republican Party was made possible by Netanyahu’s visit. The debate also delivered a significant blow to the clout and prestige of AIPAC, a lobbying group that has often been very influential in securing votes from both parties in Washington.
However, with John Boehner’s stunt of inviting Netanyahu to speak before Congress, both the GOP and AIPAC overplayed their hand, giving supporters of the Iran deal a decisive political victory.

FAKE STORY BEHIND HEART BREAKING IMAGE
The real story behind this heartbreaking image has nothing to do with people escaping the violence in Syria or anywhere else in the Middle East. The father of this child decided to put his family on a small boat to get from Turkey, where he had been employed for a long time, to Europe in order to obtain needed dental work. Boat capsized and father was the only survivor. The story is indeed tragic but is being used as propaganda to develop sympathy for the Islamic invasion of Europe

I loves me my gun. It is the only thing that really matters to me.
Hey, dude, I hear ISIS promotes gun ownership. So does Al Qaeda. Are you going to join?
No thanks..I oppose Isra-hell..who controls these terrorist groups..Why do you think McShame was photographed among them..

Republicans proposing a ban on lifting sanctions against iran ..until....
Leave Iran alone...
Allow them to make a few nukes...so they can protect themselves from ISRA-HELLS SAMPSON OPTION...
The Sampson Option is Isra-hells blackmail tool...If the nations dont do what they want..then they have threatened to nuke them.
Europe....America...everyone.
I THINK THIS IS WHY AMERICAN POLITICIANS ARE KISSING ISRA-HELLI ASS..they think they are going to get nuked
IF IRAN....AND ALL THE MIDDLE EAST NATIONS HAD NUKES TOO....ISRA-HELL WOULD SHUT THE HELL UP...
With a neighbor like ISRA-HELL...in the middle east..with hundreds of nukes..and disarming the Arab nations..IS THE SAME AS GUN CONTROL......leaving these nations ..without any way to defend themselves from the mentally ill Kabbalists who run Isra-hell.
Mordachai Vanunu..exposed the Isra-helli massive nuke operation..HE knew that any nation with that many nukes..was not planning to use them for peace..BUT FOR MASSIVE WAR...
He spent 18 years in jail..for refusing to promise to shut up...and tell no one about the Isra-helli nukes..
VANUNU CLAIMED MORE THAN 2 DECADES AGO..THAT ISRA-HELL HAD THE CAPACITY TO MANUFACTURE 10 NUKES A YEAR..
20 YEARS TIMES 10....EQUALS 2400...PLUS THE HUNDREDS HE SAW ORIGINALLY. Jews are in control of many nations...YOU WOULD THINK THAT THEY ARE PLACING THESE 'SECRET NUKES' ALL AROUND THE WORLD..for when they intend to make their move..to DEPOPULATE THE PLANET..
The DUMBS built with your tax dollars..all around the world..are fully stocked with all they will need for that period of time to pass..
Why did HELEN THOMAS always ask why the UN never spoke about the many nukes of the Isra-hellis?
If Iran....Iraq...had just one nuke..they could CHECKMATE this TALMUDIC NIGHTMARE..
HOW COME ISRA-HELL WITH ITS HUNDREDS-THOUSANDS OF NUKES..NEVER HAS TO ANSWER TO THE UNITED NATIONS...AKA THE JEWNITED NATIONS? And yet they pick on Iran..claiming they wish to build one nuke???
THE ARAB NATIONS KNOW THE JEWS BETTER THAN AMERICANS....THIS IS WHY THEY RESISTED JEWISH BANKING..until our armies were used to invade the Middle East..and install Jewish Banking to FORCE ARAB NATIONS INTO THE NEW JEW ORDER
Because the UN is Jewish..GLOBAL JEWRY ON STEROIDS...It began as the Jewish created LEAGUE OF NATIONS..of which global Jewry wrote about..bragged about...were ecstatic about...

QUEER ISRA-HELL FIRSTER..TRAITOR..UN-AMERICAN...
...WE DONT NEED YET ANOTHER HOMOSEXUAL IN THE WHITE HOUSE..ONE WAS ENOUGH TO LAST A LIFE TIME....
HOW HUMILIATING..TO HAVE THIS CHRISTIAN NATION BE RAN BY SODOMITES..
Mark Stern as well as Sally Cohen..are both Jews...and are both on the wrong side of the law..Anti American...doing their best to destroy our Constitution...as per the PROTOCOLS OF THE LEARNED ELDERS OF ZION...
JEWISH NOAHIDE LAWS..were illegally passed in 1991..
JEWISH NOAHIDE LAW..requires the beheading of Christians
I wonder if this begins..if anyone will stop them..or just say..WELL..ITS THE LAW...WHAT CAN YA DO?

Hillary giving her all-time best speech of her life.
I would title it:
"When the defense machine out-costs the war machine" and how to accomplish it.
Seriously, u HAVE to listen to it.
"*BROOKINGS*
I definitely can't wait for responses to it.
Listen close to the part explaining the defense tools it is going to take to "ensure" compliance.
You dems haven't seen a military expenditure requirement like this is going to take. So I don't want to hear 1 word about military budgets and priorities
Not that I would prefer war just because it would be cheaper aside from the cost of human lives and property devastation. And certainly not because nuclear war wouldn't devastate us all..
But just be ready... kah -CHING!

Fun
u have no idea what the "Sampson option" is, or how many other nations have similar stratagies (U.S. Russia)
It is not a threat of aggression, but a deterrent, and promise of a last resort MASS retaliation.

That would be because we don't want to let Christians do to America
what Islam did to the Middle East.
But I guess you fail to see the distinction.

climate change is real...
it is not man made...
man has an impact...but not a substantial one...
truth is if we banned all fossil fuels tomorrow in 100 years it would not make a 1% difference...
We should still do everything we can to limit carbon emissions...
It is still not good for our health...lol
and we do have viable alternatives if we would just use them...
but it is not the emergency some want to make it...

Were you one of those "patriots" that was nitpicking
and arguing over costs and debt at the time?
If so, then you need to put your flag away and quit fooling
yourself.
Real Americans don't throw their heroes under the bus.
What ever the cost

So what was that you were saying about small minds discussing people?
"Great minds discuss ideas; - average minds discuss events; - small minds discuss people." -
