I have to avoid spinach (even though I love the taste) because I am severely allergic to it.

I have to have jalapenos because I love to eat them so much

deneez, you got it!! Just trying to get this group to fellowship and have some fun!!!

I can't stand the taste or smell of bananas, even though my dog loves banana chips

I love brussel sprouts and this year have been learning how to really prepare them in salads, sandwiches, meals, etc.

I'm hooked on fruit salad. I made one for a 4th of July cookout I was invited to attend, and it was so good. I followed a recipe that had been being passed around Facebook.

Here's the recipe, if you don't have it, and would like to try it:

1 can peaches with juice
1 can pineapple chunks with juice
1 regular box vanilla pudding mix (I used French Vanilla)
1/2 pint blue berries
1 lb strawberries
1 bunch grapes
1 banana
1-2 TBSP sugar (optional)
I also put about a lb of pitted sweet cherries in mine

Combine the cans of peaches and pineapples in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the vanilla pudding mix, mixing until pudding mix is well mixed in and dissolved. Mix in the rest of the fruits. Let chill before serving.

P.S. Ronann, you can leave the bananas out (and btw- bananas (including banana chips) are good for your dog. Grapes and raisins are poison to them, though).

I think I'm going to add some chopped walnuts next time I make it.

OT- I love broccoli, Brussels sprouts, asparagus. I also love baked chicken.

I won't eat anything containing coconut, just don't like the taste or texture. Won't eat peanut butter cookies. Won't eat organ meats, they filter waste and have toxic residue in them. Won't eat stinky smelling foods like blue cheese or chitterlings,I find them repulsive.

Must have coffee, preferably columbian. I am an addict. Must have honeydew melon, watermelon, nectarines, seedless red grapes. Natures candy. Must have smooth ice cream, no nuts or other obstructions. Must have almonds. Must have chicken wings, I like to chew on them.

I have to "third" it. I never liked coconut, but can "tolerate" small amounts in certain things. It just tastes nasty, I think.

Onions and/or onion rings is one that I can't have. Like them, but gives me a headache and/or stomach ache from eating them.

I like coconut but cannot stand those sweetened coconut flakes. I like coconut cream but it really tastes better with shaved coconut not with those sweetened coconut flakes

I understand completely. I'm the same way. I have to limit onions. They can trigger Migraine attacks.

I don't eat pork or beef, pork because I don't think it's healthy, beef because of the cholesterol.

I love fruit and veggies, must have, especially peaches.

Is there a food I will not eat? I try to steer clear of seafood.

Why? Certain oils in seafood trigger Migraine attacks, and I notice if I eat seafood, often I will have a Migraine attack afterwards.

Is there a food I have to have? Well, it used to be Blue Bunny Ice Cream (I'd have to ignore the ice cream aisle of the store), but after making that one fruit salad, I'm pretty much hooked on it, so I'll have to get my ingredients for it and make it again.

Why? Blue Bunny Ice Cream (especially Bordeaux Cherry Chocolate, and Banana Split) are awesome. But so is my fruit salad, which is also so much healthier than ice cream.
As I am watching my health and my diet more, I'm leaning more towards sensible and healthy.
