By the way, the Bible doesn't mention Ouija at all. Just FYI. All it really says is that if you want to be in THEIR club, you can't have any other parallel club memberships. Automatic expulsion. Lucky for the Christians, the Roman Empire decided to add their military muscle to back the philosophy, and that's when people really started to take them seriously.

amusicluvr Salem, OR 63, joined Nov. 2013	What is to explain? In this universe, nothing is created, and nothing is destroyed. All merely changes either form, or location, or form and location. So say the Laws Of Thermodynamics. It applies to Protons, Neutrons, etc, and to all things made of them. Why should it not apply also to what makes you you...call it Mind, or Spirit, or whatever floats your boat? When your body 'dies', it rots away into it's constituent parts...elements like carbon, etc, and ultimately to the protons, etc, which make up those elements. The Protons, and other sub atomic particles, do not vanish, rot away, or cease to exist. They remain, and become parts of other things. The protons in your left leg now will-after you die, and your body rots-be absorbed into the soil, and then become part of a stem, or leaf, of petal, in a flower that grows on your grave. Whether the real you-your mind, spirit, personality, or whatever-likewise reincarnates into another being, or travels to Heaven, or Hell, or crosses into a parallel universe where Hitler won World War Two, or whatever, is unknown for certain. I did not stay dead long enough to learn the answers to such Ultimate Fate questions. I revived, coming back to life in this body, too soon. Between the time when I died, and the time when I revived, my body was declared dead, and sent to the morgue, and scheduled for autopsy. My Self...mind, spirit, or whatever...left my body, and travelled around the hospital a bit, before returning to my body, which revived before an autopsy was performed. I don't know how it all happened. I just know that it did. I know it was not a hallucination, or dream, because it did not happen while i was alive, and nearly dead, and under anesthetic. It happened after I died, and was declared dead...brain dead. Brain dead corpses do not have dreams, or hallucinations. God was not quite ready for me to leave this life yet seems to be one possible explanation. I got Quantum Mechanically lucky is another possible explanation. The real you is something apart from your physical body which survives the bodily experience we call death. Your spirit shedding your dead body is like your living body shedding it's torn clothing. Your body does not die every time you tear a hole in the knee of your blue jeans, and your Mind / Spirit / Whatever-the REAL YOU-does not die when your body ceases to function. That is about all I can offer in the way of explanations.
