All God really cares about is that we set aside a day for him. I would agree with part of your statement. God truly cares about your heart and it is through that committed heart we find eternal life through Christ Jesus. Now for the part of worshiping on any day of the week that too is acceptable to an extent, and I am sure God would be very pleased if you worship on every day of the week, for a man or woman is never so tall as when they are on their knees. However God did give us the ten commandments and these were not part of the Mosaic law, and true by the two greatest commandments these 10 are indeed fulfilled, but that does not mean they are not valid. When Jesus said "I did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill the law" he was talking about the law of Moses. The ten commandments were not part of the law of Moses. This brings us back to my earlier post. It also brings us to the authority of the early church when Jesus said he would build his church and what so ever it would bind on earth would be bound in heaven. Again the early church began to meet on the first day of the week in honor of the resurrection of Jesus because God's redemptive work was far greater then His creative work. This was done on the authority of the early church which was given that right by Jesus Him self. For all Christians to throw out the ten commandments is not God's desire, nor is it His desire to have everyone worshiping on a different day. It is again good to worship everyday, but the coming together for community worship and the breaking of bread on the first day of the week has been done from the earliest Christian gatherings and is indeed scriptural and done so by the authority given the church by Jesus Himself. I believe Christ became our Sabbath (Hebrew 4:8; Colossians 2:16-17). (Hebrew 4:9- There remaineth therefore a rest (Gr. Sabbatismos) to the people of God).

We are talking about the Sabbath and I know in my heart that God expects us to observe the Sabbath just like the 4th commandment. I'm just saying that observing the Sabbath is more important than what day we observe it on. To everyone else: I'm not against observing the Sabbath on Saturday, Sunday, or another day. The Bible tells us that God looks upon our hearts, unlike man. I'm Baptist and like most Christians, we observe the Sabbath on Sunday. Some of you have already provided the verses and other information concerning the Sabbath. If God has put in on your heart to observe the Sabbath on Saturday then, go ahead but, as most Christians I believe that is more concerned about our hearts and not legalism.

blessedlady48 Largo, FL age: 50	well this is what i will share with u ..take it as u will the LORD layed on my heart time is short...very short for his children to be prepared for his comming...because the old saying once saved always saved...a lie from the pit ...but anyway he wants us people his ..to get ready in line ...he showing me dont go by what the world teaches follow the spirit and the lord will open up to u and bring darkness in to light and the sabbath seems to be important because 3 days he put that on my spirit ...it was from friday sunset to sunday sun set and sat was sabbath...take it as u do ...no mockers plz i will not respond to any ...this was something i felt as ur sister in christ to share ....god bless u all!
