 I understand the feeling,as I'm a single father and have been trying to do the dating thing again,and have found it alot tougher.I even have had issues where certain women couldnt understand why I didnt take my daughter to a sitter when I would get groceries,or simple things like that.

 if they dont want to be with you becouse you have kids they arnt worth your time. you will find someone its harder when you have kids becouse you have to be way more cousiouse of what girl you let into your life for the safty of your kids. i have found it harder to find someone i trust to be around my kids then finding dates
but i found someone now that i do trust and we are probily getting married

 I've not had too much of an issue dating. I can only explain what I do that works for me. First, I'll give most anyone a shot that I can have a decent conversation with. Second, I will only go out on a date when I don't have my son. Third, I make it very clear that I am a father and that I love my son. Next, I don't say he's my first priority, through my conversations, you can pick that up, but no one likes to be told they're second fiddle. I also keep it light and just worry more about being that person's friend and making sure that I'm having a good time. Let's face it, you're not going to click with everyone. Some it will and some it won't. Don't put pressure on yourself or the other person. Again, I don't have a problem dating and I'm a single custodial father who doesn't have much time to do it. It's just not a priority to me either. That also might be a plus? I don't know, but I'm just trying to help.... I hope all works out for the best though.

 personaly i would love to date a single father, sense i am a single mother i know how it is when ur child is ur world, but anyways i think i would perfer a single father cause then we would have alot more in common and he would know wat to go through when a child gets sick or something like that, plus i think single fathers are more understanding do to the fact they are going through wat we single mothers go through jmo

 I don't know... All I can say is that I feel the same way when it comes to men. They ask me out then find out I have kids and that turns them off. I used to let it get to me, but not anymore I figure it is their loss. So don't change just be yourself.

 I always have my son. I don't ever not have him. The only time he's not with me is when he is at preschool. Iwouldn't have it anyother way. I would rather hang out with him than send him to a babysitter and go out trying to meet someone.

 I would only date a RESPONSIBLE single father... one who either has custody of their kid or is really involved with their kid.... around here the single dads im coming across wont even pay child support let alone show up for visits half the time....
