I might not be a supermodel but I shine anyway. And who knows maybe the girl next door is the one for you. But to many ppl think cuz your not a certain type then your not good enough. whats wrong with liking to watch a football game on a Sunday night?

Damn right, you shine, baby!  I think you just might be looking in the wrong direction because there are guys out there that appreciate us normal, down-to-earth girls who like to do regular stuff like watch football and drive go-karts. You just have to sift through the whack-jobs first. 
And NO we are NOT like everyone else and that's a GOOD thing! No...a GREAT thing!  Sometimes guys are intimidated by a nice girl. It's not that they just walk by without seeing us, they just don't make it obvious, or ogle with their tongues hanging out, like they would some fake, unrealistic model-type.
Give it time sweety. Don't rush it and enjoy life as it comes at you. It'll happen.

sassymt, you hit it right on the head again girl! Course, I am the same way. A nice guy that a lot of girls will pass up, cause I am not the "bad boy" type or I am not tough enough or some such other excuse. I totally understand where you both are coming from ladies. I really do and can easily sympathize as well.

I think the sad reality is that alot of men are out there looking for a friend with benefits rather than find a wonderful woman to pursue a ltr with. I am a hardworking divorced mother of four. On top of working I am an Asst. Soccer Coach for AYSO and a Catechist Aide. And finished school and will be returning yet again to finish up Nursing. I wish alot of men had old school values. In today's society alot of men obviously don't have any morals from what I have heard and witnessed.

The same can be said for the female population... It's not as easy to find women who are serious about a relationship. And I know it's hard to believe but there are just as many women out there looking for "friends with benefits" as men. Men are just much more vocal about it.
As for morals, there are men and women out here who happen to have extremely high moral standards.
Bashing males or females in any way shows a lack of moral character. When you do that it just means that those with low standards and bad ethics have won and made you bitter.
Not worth it.

Your very right there are both for male and female. And they dont care who they hurt to get what they want. Sad that ppl just are not upfront and honest.
