Turning it around if you are a guy and was going to a Country Western bar, you would maybe wear the cowboy gear in the hopes of attracting a few cowgirls correct?....well that doesn't mean that if a big ol heffer approaches you, that you dressed to attract her now does it.

You can look sexy and still remain classy. A little cleavage OR short skirt showing your legs can be very attractive. Just don't show too much of everything at the same time. It's like the old rule about jewelry, never wear 3 pieces that are the exact same pattern, it's common looking.
If you don't want men looking at it, don't show it.

 exactly, that want all men to drool over them, and to want them, over any other woman, but they only want to see the men that they are interested in (checking them out) I'll tell you how to get some of them to be attracted to you though, by ignoring them, you pay no attention to them or look at them like they ain't shit... then it makes them angry but curious and they will come up to you talking and flirting, not becuase they like you, but becuase some woman are the vainest creatures on the planet. and they expect all men to think they are the most beautiful of all... They will flirt with you until you start showing interests in them, then they feel "they won" and then they stop talking to you..... it is all a game to alot of women... now if you never seem to show them interest, after they have already tried everything to get you to like them, then they will be scannless as hell and who knows what they will plot against you... it is very sad for alot of women to be that way, but the truth is the truth.....I just tell it like it is.....

You know, That is one I agree with wholeheartedly, I give guys hell for doing that...I have asked several if they knew that wearing their pants down off their a** like that in prisons means that they are available. Needless to say, a LOT of us do NOT approve of that fad. I do have to agree with at least the basis for the original point though, If women want to show off their stuff, they need to expect it to get looked at! that does not mean it's ok to just leer because they have a nice shape (sometimes might be hard to resist) but not called for. I and I believe the O.P. means when they show it off on purpose then want to b*tch about you looking.

Why is it that women will often dress provocatively in public and then pretend to be offended because guys notice?
We see women wearing a string or thong undies or a loose fitting top with no bra under it, and then they bend over or kneel and expose themselves. But when a guy notices and gets caught the woman will always make an issue of it. I always figured that when a person dresses in such a manner as to attract attention they should be flattered that people notice their efforts and/or assets.
If they don’t expect guys to “peek” when they expose themselves, then why wear clothing that so easily is provocative?

I wont speak for all women. What I will say is that if I have been working on loosing weight your darn skippy I will wear something to show it off. The thing of it is I am wearing it for myself because it feels good to be able to wear it and look good. I don't want a stranger coming over and drooling on me for heavens sake. Men where hot looking clothes to show off the muscles they have and earned. It makes them feel good and they show it.

Either they get the attention from a guy that is un-attractive to them, or they get the attention that makes them feel like a slut. I've seen it many times where I used to work. Some woman would get a new boob job and would like to show it off. Hey, kuddos, if I just spent that kind of money, I would want to show them off too. But I think they are giving off a negative vibe. Men are stimulated by visual imagies. They see you working it like a pro, and they get turned on. For all you "cougars" out there, sure, you can get the boys. But if you don't have the "funds" to keep them, they will always go back to the younger girls.

i personally think it's obvious. when women expose a lot, there's a purpose behind it and it's to attract attention or else they wouldn't put forth so much effort into finding the "right" clothes to have on. but i do think if they're going to dress that way, they can't knock the attention they're getting. im not saying that it gives men the right to be disrespectful and carry on like she's a piece of meat but men are going to look. it's in their nature. i like to look sexy myself and dress accordingly but i don't want to appear "slutty" either. not that i'm judging anyone. just my opinion. i know what i would want to attract. and i get plenty of compliments w/out having to practically undress myself in public.
and on the same token, i think men and women it's just human nature too that if they think they have the body, or even not have the body, they may just want to flaunt it. again it just boils down to what kind of attention u want.
