It's all good as long as everyone know what's going on and is okay with it. But it can be awkward when on a date with one and run into the other people he or she is dating.

Metu, tell him you have to ask your boyfriend if he minds. If he's ok with that, then it's probably just a friendship thing, but if he wants to keep the boyfriend out of it..I'd say don't do it..unless YOU want to. But I think your boyfriend should know about it, otherwise it's cheating.

Personally, I don't know how to date more than one person at a time.
However, I think of dating as trying a person on to see if they fit. You may not know whether or not they fit until you've dated them a few times. With that, if you can handle it, I think it's fine as long as all parties are on the same page.
I don't think of dating as getting into a serious relationship...once you've found the one you connect with, then you move forward into a more serious relationship and stop dating the others.

I agree with Peaches completely. If you're not committed to anyone and the men/women you're seeing understand that, then you're a "free agent" so to speak. Once sex enters the picture, the situation changes though since sex in a relationship often implies committment especially now because of std's.
