Duct tape is too messy and then you have to use Goo Gone to get all the sticky off later. Much better to use rope with easy to release nautical knots. If you don't know how to tie nautical knots learn or don't play the game.

I have a further thought on Chey's duct tape posting. Men have body hair. Removing duct tape would at the very least not be a pleasent experience. The women folk should think of this as using duct tape in place of a bikini wax or shaving pubic hair. I am sure you ladies would take a pass on the duct tape option.

Somebody mentioned my suggested use of rope and nautical knots. Allow me to elaborate. First use a soft textured light gauged rope - 16 strand preferred. After all you do not want to make your partner feel uncomfortable. Nautical knots because they hold well but are easy to untie. Bonds should not be too tight. The object is pleasure. You are not tying up a dangerous criminal. Safety is another factor. It is rare but medical emergencies can happen such as a diabetic going into an insulin reaction. A need could arise to get the other person free in a hurry. Key lock handcuffs are not a good choice. They intimidate and keys can easily get lost or misplaced considering the moment. I know that if after the fact my partner lost the key to the cuffs I would be pissed. This should be a smooth operation not unlike a man undressing a lady. This is an exercise in trust.
