we are not talking about just conversing with them. We are talking a lifetime thing here. It don't matter to me one way or another. Is their loss if they pass me up because I'm not " in their league". Just as it would be a loss to me to fear that I am not in their league.. HOWEVER... Alot of people feel that they are in a league. Like someone said.. how many rich folks have you seen taking up with a girl in rags?

i'm coming it to this thread a bit late. however, i think there are leagues and we are the one's that make them. is someone out of your league? i think that depends on some preconceptions about yourself as well as the other person's preconceptions about themselves. i often find that i've missed opportunities to connect with someone because one of us thought the other was "out of their league".

wow tru this post has really hit home with me...although i don't use these exact words..i have found myself being really honest to men and saying they "r not my type" and have lost out on some of the most amazing men i could ever have hoped to meet in my lifetime...one in particular is in this site and i still regret saying these words to him b/c not only did i lose a true soulmate but a good friend as well...*still kicking my own ass over that one*
